I still think we are largely seen by the world as peace keepers.

I think we have been mocked regarding it by our southern friends, not all, but some. And still will be. I was on the internet for the years after the invason of Iraq, and I remember the sentiments of the right. It was my first introduction to political opinion through this medium.

And if because we are in Afghanistan and fighting for what the agenda was then, to root out Al-Qaeda and Bin Laden...and are now seen as infidels for it by that part of the world which opposes it, let the chips fall where they may. I personally believe in the cause.
