Well i do mean to piss on yours... I felt Hopkins clearly beat Calzaghe, and Mayweather - De la hoya could of gone both ways...
Ok well to add more piss to the bonfire....

He also claimed RJJ would beat Calzaghe.

So did sugar shane and winky

that was more in hope that all of their legacys wouldnt be ruined by some guy from newbridge wales rather than anything else.

    Think about it....

theyve all been categorised as the best fighters in the world and then along comes some unbeaten, unknown from europe and starts picking them off one by one.

the likes of winky, RJJ and B-hop have a lot more in common than you think!!

Hopkins is often wrong and frequently spews utter nonsense.

I hope he is wrong here, but Pac does have a nightmare of a task.

But Sugar Shane and Winky admitted they had to go for the 'american guy'

Hopkins just outright said Jones would win because he's by far the better fighter

Thing is, IF Oscar Ko's Pac, big fucking deal, it's the minimum he should do, and it'll only set up another bullshit fight with Hatton.
The fact that Pac was able to hit Diaz at will, but still took nine rounds to finish him, is a reason i so strongly fancy Oscar for this fight.

Also.. I think Marquez was controlling, for the majority of the fight, and hurting Pac with the left hand earlier in the year. If Oscar can emulate Marquez success, with the added power, Pac's had it.

I agree the fight don't mean much.. unless Pac wins.
I agree with all your points, it depends what type of Oscar turns up. Pac won't be able to KO him, but he stood to the game plan with Diaz and didn't get over excited, if he's quick enough he might be able to pull out the decision as i'd expect DLH to tire first.
Yeah.. should Pac get through the first half pretty much unscathed he's in with a good chance.

And i'll seriously start bottling my bet

Mayweather won that fight without controversy. Oscar was winning in the first half of the fight. Winning not dominating. But the second half was ALL Mayweather.
    Agreed.

Tough call. After watching the fight a couple of times, I was left with the impression that the judges scored a lot of the punches that DLH blocked with his gloves. I suppose I could be wrong though. I think in live action that a lot of judges have trouble with distinguishing punches that connect from punches that are blocked.

Steve Forbes has arguably the best chin p4p in boxing, so I don't think this reflects too badly on ODLH.

I felt B-Hop beat Joe 114-113, but it was a fight that could easily go either way, and I though PBF beat Oscar 116-112. Oscar didn't deserve to just get points for throwing shots that weren't landing. Let's face it if a guy got a decision over an opponent who landed almost twice as many power punches, there would've been far greater uproar. Oscar often seems to do better on the cards than his performances suggest, although he woz robbed in the 2nd Mosley fight.

Also B-Hop is obviously gonna say this, & its not quite like his fight vs Pavlik, seeing as all logic would suggest Oscar SHOULD KO a guy who started his career at 106lbs. He's not exactly a beacon of impartiality. He would say the same if Oscar was fighting Margarito (who I think Oscar WOULD beat), even though you would have to be King Kong to drop him.

Delahoya- Mayweather could have gone both ways? One of the worst scored fights in the past 10 years, and you are actually saying this with Mayweather as your avatar, I think you should take that off. Mayweather clearly won 8 or 9 rounds of the fight. Oscar couldn't land anything, and Mayweather was countering him with effective punches, and when Hopkins tired against Calzaghe, Mayweather just got started, and began dominating the last two or three rounds.

HOpkins-Calzaghe was a close fihgt, I have them both winning the same amount of rounds with the KD deciding the fight, but Hopkins also said Jones would win, but he didn't, I thought it was a lot closer than the judges, but still Calzaghe was busy enough, and landed enough(though very little compared to what some would have you believe) to win the fight.

Not often just sometimes. People didnt believe him when he said that he would beat Tito, Tarver, and Pavlik but he did. Bhop most the time knows wat hes talkin about he just does some crazy crap like throw the Puerto Rican flag down, muff Winky lol, and say " i will never let a white boy beat me". but other than that he knows wat hes talkin about.

I think this was more true vice versa. I think DLH got a lot more credit than he deserved for his "flashy" combos that landed on gloves and arms. Same thing that happened in his fight against Sweet Pea. Oscar knows how to catch the eyes of the judges.
