I dont know about around your way but around here i can buy old out of date posters in glassed frames for a song at garage sales on the weekends, like mickey mouse ones and kids stuff. Remove theold pics ad put your boxing ones in mate.
Just an idea.
What do you guys call em ? car boot sales I think.
Garage sales, around here,if I find a fight poster at a garage sale, its probably one I dont want. I really dont want kids just aspiring to a Rough N Rowdy or a Toughman, even though Ive got champs in both,I want them to aim a little higher then that.So putting up a poster from one of them in the gym sends the wrong message. An unfortunate truism of life in WV, since the amateur scene really only exists in one small part of the state,Rough N Rowdies and Toughman contests have become our amateur scene. You could either drive 3 hours to fight for free,or drive a half an hour and have a chance to win a grand,as rural and poor as most of this state is,its an easy decision for the kids to make.
No, I ment just buy old pictures of anything large in frames (Piss off the pictures) just for the glass and frame to put the posters that i got you into.

I got them from clubs and pubs that used to call us up when a fight was on ,we would a go, but while on the phone I'd always ask for them to keep a poster of that fight set aside for us when we got there.Which they always did cause a couple of my old mates were in their 70s and ex pro fighters so It was good for them too.

I dont own a gym .I have friend called Jim.
