I give heaps of credit to Manny. He did everything so well, and showed he really has matured so much. He has all the tools and a remarkable boxing brain. It was a special performance beating all the odds and obstacles like that.

I refuse to give Oscar much credit though because I disagree with his motivations for making this fight. He could have gone for a big fight against someone of a similar standing, look at Mosley...now that a fighter I can respect. But Oscar?? No, forget it, he is a dilletante pretender. He looked at what would make big money and possibly be a lower risk. He got it horribly wrong and was thoroughly humiliated. He's made his 20 million or whatever and quit after 8. The money was the only motivation and he has it. Pathetic, and I hope he now stays in the suit. Or the stockings. Whichever takes his fancy. But he is done with fighting.

But again full credit to Manny. He is the man.
