Pac vs Hatton would be very exciting. Before Pac fought DLH, I gave the advantage to HAtton coz I haven't seen Pac fight at 147.
With the way Pac beat DLH, I'm giving the advantage to Pac now. Of course, Ricky would be very very dangerous for Pac.![]()

I don't care how awful De La Hoya looked. Manny was fast, quick, and had surprising pop in his hands at 147. At 140 he can only be stronger and faster. I say he rips Hatton a new one.
But what do I know?

it would really depend on how motivated pac comes into this fight. if he still comes in the underdog and they do it in england i'd say he might bring out again one of his best performance. if pac becomes the favorite, i'd give hatton an even chance of pulling a win or just make manny a slight favorite. the hitman will give the pacman one heck of a fight at 140.

This is a very good fight, Hatton still has good reflexes from what his last fight showed and will be very dangerous first 6 rounds.
Pac would have to play the part of the lion tamer again and then become the lion late. Hatton will not be able to maintain Manny's tempo so he will have to do good work early himself.
If it goes into the later rounds, Hatton will start getting bloodied and pummeled, so he would have to come out very strong and determined early and catch Manny.
Manny seems to be in his prime right now and looked incredible last night. Ricky's best days I believe are behind him so I have to favor Manny by late stoppage somewhere. Before that though Ricky will very much be in the fight and has the ability to rough Pac up if he can somehow catch up to him early. Ricky also has great footwork so he can make it interesting

You're right..Say like a Zab Judah.I think if he just had the heart of a Mexican or a Filipino he may have been one of the greats of this generation.and Brit's and Irish fighters too.Micky Ward,,wayne Maccullough..what's up with these races being real warriors than these 'talented' but gutless americans. In the case of the Mexicans and Filipinos I knew poverty is a factor.More so in the phillipines.I haven't seen a Flip who quitted on a bout. They keep fighting as long as they can.I remember this undercard fight on the Hatton-Malignaggi card this kid Boom-Boom was down and was bleeding furiously but he kept fighting until the final bell. And whenever I watch a Vasquez-Marquez fight it still amazes me how courageous this warriors are.In the case of Brits and these Irish boxers I'm still wondering what drives them aside from pride. Is it something genetic or cultural. If it is then fucck the American culture.![]()
An empty can is always noisy.

yeah, there are some filipinos who do quit and mexicans too. and you'd never thought duran would come out with the infamous "no mas". so it actually has nothing to do with race. although aj simply ran out of gas and would just have been totally ko'ed had he continued, same as cotto in his last outing.

Like i've been saying for ages"Make this fight happen!"It would be a awesome fight,,,a propper FIGHT!!Hatton vs Pacman june 2009 at Wembly(England)with a full house of 100,000 spectators in a open top arena!!
It would be a really really hard fight with guaranteed blood and gore!!![]()

I disagree.
Hatton slaughters Pac. He beat Oscar De La Whora, an old man who's been there and done it who had no desire left in him.
Hatton is something else, remeber when everybody said on here Paulie Malignaggi would school Hatton ?Look what happened. The best Ricky Hatton is still to come.
If it's at London I'm going for sure.
