JMM was young and inexperienced when he fought Freddie Norwood, and Freddie Norwood won by being dirty and rough. And JMM never lost to Chris John he beat him that was a BS decision.

But i don't see what these fights have anything to do with JMM's chin, and its not like Ricky Hatton is a big hitter. When is the last time Ricky Hatton had a KO against a good opponent ?

I'd question Ricky Hatton's chin more he was stopped by Floyd Mayweather, who isn't a big puncher at the heigher weightclasses. He was rocked by a natural Lightweight Juan Lazcano, JMM just recently stopped iron chinned Joel Casamayor, and JMM has never been stopped in his career i think he beats Ricky Hatton no problem.
I'm with ICE, Marquez wasn't the same fighter when he lost to Norwood and he DEF did not lose to John.

I think Hatton could hurt Marquez but he would have to hit Marquez first. I think Marquez controls Hatton from a distance the whole fight. Each time Hatton would lunge in Marquez greets him with straight rights like Mayweather did. If Hatton gets in close, Marquez could hit him with some combinations then get out of there or have Hatton back out as a result. As long as Marquez could fight at 140 and not look out of shape I'm all rooting and predicting for a Marquez points decision.

With that said, if Hatton worked on the inside, I don't know how Marquez would handle that but I would think Marquez would avoid it at all costs.

The way I see it is Hatton stopped the powerful guy in Tszyu and stopped the speedster in Malignaggi . Whatever Marquez tries Hatton will beat him at . Marquez is no Mayweather . Infact I think a washed up Barrera beat him and he landed more shots .Ricky is too big .

I wouldnt be shocked if Marquez pulled it off cuz Hatton showed he may be over the hill vs Lazcano but seemed to get abit back in his last fight

Hatton by KO
