Other stuff though I just don't like. I want to describe it but I have to just lay it out, list the stuff I don't like and ask questions I'll defend my picks. But I don't like a ton of tihs stuff from the south.

    Glazed ham
    scalloped potatos
    deviled eggs
    sweet potatos
    baked chicken
    stuffing
    grits
    creamed corn (fucking disgusting)
    biscuits and gravy
buttery vegetables (lima beans, string beans)

GRAVY, in the south gravy is on EVERYTHING. It drives me nuts I hate it. The only gravy I like is the gravy that you get when you make chopped steak or salisbury steak. It's fucking great ubt in the south there is this thick gravy on EVERYTHING. You aren't allowed to have mash potatos without gravy on it. Here we put sour cream in our mash potatos not gravy. Gravy is so overrated, but that one gravy is delicous. That might be what annoys me the most that gravy shit, that was a trigger right there.

I love turkey too I LOVE turkey.
Deviled Eggs? That's fucked up, deviled eggs are good.

Is Baked Chicken a southern thing?

See some of this stuff is not really southern food, or not just southern food. Scalloped potatoes I don't think is southern food is it? And stuffing or dressing isn't really southern food although they do some different kinds down here. And how the fuck do you not like stuffing, that's ridiculous.

Nobody really likes grits, at least not just grits. I don't think people even like them really if you put butter and salt and pepper in them, they're just something you eat to go with other stuff, they're not bad but they're not really great. Its not like anybody answers "grits" when asked what they're favorite food is.

Creamed corn and lima beans are both good but that's not as ridiculous as not liking deviled eggs or stuffing.

And really it must be the gravy part of biscuits and gravy that you don't like, right? Not liking biscuits is depraved and fucked up.

Honestly where I'm from people don't put gravy on everything, its good though.

Ugh, I used to work in a deli and we would do breakfast which you know southern stuff, biscuits that kind of thing, and we had gravy and when we took the breakfast stuff up our three bills plus manager women would put the pot of gravy on a table in the back room and all during the day she'd be walking by it dipping her finger in it, all day. That gravy must have been desperate to be left alone.

I haven't thought about that in a while, nasty, that's almost enough to put me off gravy.

I didn't even see Lyle's post he's right hippy, gravy isn't put on everything. Chicken fried steak has to have gravy, not that I eat chicken fried steak a lot or anything. I don't really like it on biscuits. Its good on mashed potatoes. And turkey cause turkey's so fucking dry. But not on fried chicken or biscuits, that's just covering up goodness.

Turkey is so much less dry then baked chicken which as far as I can tell you don't have a problem with.

That is spectacularly wrong. Or you had really bad baked chicken or I've had really bad turkey. I've been told fried turkey is not so dry but I've never had it.

I'm just going to attribute it to the south, I maybe shouldn't but yeah it's just easier for me to do that. In Califorina there is a lot of grilled chicken available which I love, not sure about the south.

That is "I think Jim Carrey is funny" wrong, its off the charts wrong. You must have had some severely overcooked baked chicken.

I think baked chicken is a southern thing, I know they have it out here but I only remember getting it in the south. Or having it made.

I like biscuits but hate gravy, any I rarely ever see gravy served on or with anything out here. In the South I seem to remember all those country kitchens it would be served with everything.

Stuffing is nasty, dry and textured disgusting. Same with deviled eggs, the texture is so nasty that not even Tobasco can save it. Pluss I don't like eggs much to begin with.

I hate biscuits and gravy not biscuits though. Gravy over fries or sausage is nasty. So was that story you told, nasty. See how many times I can use that word today.
