What fight was that judge watching that gave it to Cunningham with that kind of score?

This was a great fight, both guys showed a lot of heart, and grit.

Considering that judge was from Rhode Island, he must have been a retard for sure

Just saw the fight now... WOW!!

What a fight... I'm now 3-0 in Adamek fights. Most people thought Bell would KO him but surprise! surprise! he KO'd Bell.
Now he goes onto beat "USS".

Gotta love Adameks workrate, he has the heart of a lion. I think Adamek is underappreciated. He has been thrilling us since 2005 when he 1st fought Briggs in that all out war.
On the other hand not a "USS" fan, but I gotta applaud him for his efforts tonight. That's how you win fans by fighting like that...
When I saw him fight "Diablo", he fought nothing like today. Would he have fought like he fought today he would have beat "Diablo" decisievely both times.

Anyone up for Adamek vs. Jones around March/April 2009?

I hope u mean Guillermo and not Roy!!!!
Disliked Adamek after Briggs fights purely cos i was a fan of Paul. But man has he won me over now. Paul seems to not have recoverd from their 2 epic duels. I honestly thought he'd struggle moving up from LHW to cruiser but if anything Tough Tomasz has got better. Wins over Bell and Cunningham are nothing to sneeze at.

It also shows how good Chad Dawson was to beat Adamek as easily as he did. The man is no push over that is for sure.

I was thinking the same thing last night. Chad Dawson is one helluva boxer to do what he did to Adamek.

I went to the fight last night and had a great time.

Everything about the event was done well. Clearly, the fight was sensational. The Prudential Center is new and classy. The fans were great - the crowd was largely Polish, which other than the inexplicable rudeness shown during Cunningham's interview at the end of the fight, provided an amazing energetic atmosphere.

Cunningham showed heart that I didn't know he had. He won me over as a fan. He obviously needs to work on punching power because in round 4 he was putting a beat down on Adamek, but Ademak didn't seem fazed. Speaking of round 4, that was one hell of a round.

I think one poster described Adamek as a machine. I couldn't say it better myself. He showed incredible poise during Cunningham's onslaught and continued to press the action. He surely is a cruiserweight to reckon with.

I'll post pictures this weekend. Unfortunately, I sat in a suite (I know, I know, unfortunate me) which wasn't ideal for taking pictures. I'd actually prefer to be closer to the action.

    Good times all around.

Oh, I don't know how that judge scored the fight for Cunningham when Adamek put him down three times. That was ridiculous. Must have been Don King's man.

I just read your coverage of the rounds, and it was spot-on. Good stuff.

And that round 2 was a SOLID round.

Great fight! I'd love to see a rematch in the future or better yet imagine if the "Diablo" Wlodarczyk beats Fragomeni for the WBC belt then fights Adamek in a unification match. Whether it's held in Chicago or Warsaw your guaranteed to see fireworks

Good fight but very irratating to see cunningham finally get his big shot on the tube and fight exactly the opposite of how he usually does. C'mon cunningham you of all people know all those muscles are strictly for show why he choose to try and bomb and not just jab and stick like usual i don't know. I was out of my mind to think he'd give haye a good fight before the first round was over haye would be taking pictures and giving interviews blabbing on about some klitchko. Man and i started to like the guy when he gave the salute which kinda got me excited for the bronco game this weekend. I do give cunningham the award for the tallest boxer i've seen with the widest punch, he just handed his height and reach advantage right over to adamek in the begining of the fight.

You are entirely correct. I was screaming that the whole time. He needed to throw a quick combination and then move out of the way. Jab and move. He has seen tape of Adamek, he should have known not to sit and trade bombs with him and to stay off the ropes.

One thing was also apparent was that for what Cunningham has in speed, he lacks in power. Either that or Adamek has a chin comparable to Margarito.

Great night. Adamek continues to surprise me. I'm almost hesitant to say this cause it sounds like I'm taking away from Chad but I do think Adamek was getting a bit weight drained, the ability he's had to move up 25 pounds has been very impressive. Still a very good win for Chad.

I'd still take Jones, but I won't sleep on Adamek anymore (not that I really did I just wasn't sure he was really a cruiser), I'd just take Jones cause I think he's the best cruiser in the world.
