    Interesting...

Who do you think would call the shots in regards to $ and weight in a Pac vs Floyd fight??

You have the current ACTIVE P4P #1 in the World, vs the retired, UNBEATEN former P4P #1... I'm sure Pac would want the fight to be at 143 or even 140. And I think Floyd would be pushing for it to be at 147...

So who do you think has the more power in the negotiation over this fight.. Pac of Floyd?

On the Hatton topic though, I do think the fact Hatton is actually active that he deserves a shot at Pac before Floyd does.. And aside from losing to Floyd who has since retired, he does not have a single other loss..... The fact Floyd has been retired, I think Hatton does get his shot first...

So step aside Money Mayweather.. You'll have to wait a little longer for your payday and beatdown. Hatton is getting his first..

Plus I would say that Hatton vs Pac will be a definite candidate for 2009 FOTY... Both guys have a tonne of heart, good chin, relentless attack, will, skill, determination, good styles.... It'll be a war, and both are no strangers to be hanging on for dear life during a fight and continueing to battle on... I think Pac will be a little slicker and a little smarter,,,, and will just get the better of Hatton in most of their exchanges.. But either will have to earn the shit out of a win..

If it goes 12, at least 8 will be explosively exciting.. I would LOVE to see this fight.... Ever since the first time it was suggest a long while back and I pictured both fighters in the ring, it just seems like a recipe MADE for boxing fans...

Pac definitely has the power. There are a bunch of people that want to fight Pac, and several he would want to fight. There are a bunch of fighters wanting a shot at PBF, but how many of them does PBF want to fight. NONE!! This is the only fight he wants.

Pac won't fight until June apparently so that leaves Hatton free to fight JMM or perhaps Zab before then. Whatever happens we will see some great fights in 2009. Pac holds all the aces and he will take either Hatton or Mayweather jr. Remember Hatton is the 140lb champ and Pac just might go to the UK for the biggest pay day of his career. Mayweather jr might want to bigger a slice of the pie for Pac's liking.

Hatton wouldnt risk a potential 20mil+ on offer for fighting pac by taking such a high risk fight as these 2 would offer.

6months isnt that long a time in the world of professional boxing and id be stunned if the next time hatton/pacquiao get in the ring it isnt with eachother!!

I agree, Hatton won't take that risk.

Hatton/Floyd/Oscar are obsessed with money, they shuld just chuck in 20m centre ring then throw the three guys in with it and watch them bite each other to death.

American dollar weak as piss and the British pound still strong may sway it for Hatton too if they sign it up sooner than later.

Damn economics messing with the integrity of the sport again!

Any of these fights sounds great to me. I'm looking forward to 2009.

Boss the British pound is nowhere near strong! Its probably at least as weak as the dollar right now. Trust me, I live here. The Euro is what has strength now, so those pesky Germans will probably try pick it up

The pounds the lowest it's ever been against the Euro.

As for Floyd picking on little guys, well Pac is a very legitimate fight IMO. But he needs to face at least one of the big 147's to prove without doubt his dominance. If Marg is as easy as Floyd's followers say he is then why not have a 'very easy' night proving it? it hasn't happened because it ain't an easy fight, granted Floyd would be favourite but seeing is believing.

PAC is a very lucky guy... Everybody wants to fight him...

    ODLH
    PBF
    Hatton
    Judah
    Margarito
    JMM
    Guzman
    etc...

They want to fight PAC coz they see him as a very beatable boxer...

I am also of the belief that those who are calling Pac thinks that Pac is a beatable fighter only to be amazed at his skill when they meet in the ring.

I might as well consider Pac as currently one of the most underrated fighter

Honestly, I guess that's why Pac is an exciting fighter. You won't know what he will bring in the table.

Precisely... They see PAC as a very beatable boxer and then they end up getting the worst beating in their whole boxing career...

I want to see Hatton face off against Pac because it would be monumental and a brilliant clash of styles. Mayweather should wait his turn.
