He's actually won two. The fight against McCall was (supposedly) an eliminator too, but the whole Peter/Maskaev/Vitali circus kinda screwed him over. After winning two eliminators, you'd think he'd be up there deserving a shot.
Also, he was WBC Cruiserchamp when he moved up, and while there may be a case for suggesting that merits in Cruiser dont count when evaluating HW, surely it is not a case that can be used for Haye?
Haye is fighting Vitali. It is as well as signed. The point is moot.
Does beating Haye help Vitali's legacy or standing?
