This is the first time i have been remotely excited by the Heavyweight division since Vitali v Lennox
Gotta love what Haye's done and he'll wind Vitali up more and more as the months go on
Can't wait too see what he comes up with next hahaha
I hope this will be a repeat of Ali v Liston where the brash young gun takes the title off the boring one
History repeating...?
Hope so and how will will Vitali fight if he's fighting on anger and not his usual "YAWN" controlled self?
Gonna be such an occasion this, can't wait!!!!
HAye at the very least deserves the respect of the boxing world for saving the Heavyweight division and livening it up at last!
I think your confusing Vitali with Wladimir?
How can Vitali be boring when he took the Lewis fight on 2 weeks notice and soaked everything Lewis had and had Lennox ready to drop only for a cut to stop him be considered boring, he wan every fight since by stoppage as well and just came back after 3 years out to humiliate and batter Peter
I think Haye has made a big mistake, hes just made Vitali fired up and motivated, consider the Peter fight a nice warm up for Vitali to shed his rust, now he can get back in the groove and go hammer and tong on Haye![]()
Based on this statement you are also saying Cliff Couser is better than Wlad? As Haye finished Barrett off quicker than Wlad..
Give the guy a break.. he's not coming into the division and taking on all the bums then claiming superiority like most people do. He's going after the best. He has undeniable power, he's alot quicker than most heavyweights and he brings some excitement into the division with his personality (Whether it be amusement or dislike, he brings attention to the division..). I think he'll beat wlad pretty easily but Vitali is another question..

#1 Wladimir fought Monte Barret waaaay long ago in 2000....back when Monte only had 1 loss, a split decision to Lance Whittaker. Since the loss to Wlad, Monte gained momentum almost beating Joe Mesi and beating Guinn and then he got beat by Rahman, Valuev, and Couser.
#2 David Haye is waltzing into a division and just claiming his dominance after beating a journeyman...Haye has never even gotten close to fighting a contender much less a title holder.
David Haye doesn't have a shot at either Klitschko...Wlad would brutalize him.
I love that all you Haye fans are now excited about the division just because there is some loud mouthed prick out there trying to fight the best without earning a shot......Audley Harrison keeps talking, you guys aren't happy he's still around![]()
I'd think you'd be happy to see David Haye making a lot of noise and attracting attention Lyle. I mean, he is bringing fans and attention to a division that needs it...and if Vitali knocks his head clean off, with all the hype leading into it, I would think that would help legitimize the Klitschko's to the general boxing public.
I think it is win win for the HW division. I too don't think he is ready for Vitali and will lose...but I think the HW division is ready for him.
YoungBlood, I think you expect that when Vitali KO's Haye that it will mean that Vitali will get respect... that sadly is not the case.
Haye fans will make excuses for him, "he wasn't ready yet" etc.
If David Haye worked his way up to a title shot THEN Vitali would get credit for hammering him into the canvas...but that's not the case.
So what your saying is that you rather have the Klitschko's fight weak no name opposotion the rest of their careers.. I mean I think haye is more legitimate than Valuev, since you have made it known he is a bum and Arreola who would probably knock himself out with his own man boob..
Haye is the best option, though I will say it was nice knowing David because Vitali will absolutely demolish him, Vitali is to strong to durable and just plain superhuman in the chin..I honestly think Haye is banking on Vitali getting injured and saying he would of fought and beat Vitali if he was healthy, because there is no way in hell Haye puts a dent in Vitali Klitschko
I still feel Haye sparks Wlad out, beating an old Rahman shows absolutely nothing in terms of Wlad, he remains still untested against a fast nimble figher with just as solid as a punch as he has
The Klitschkos have not dodged anyone and many of the last few fighters W has faced were in the ring top ten when he KO'ed them. V came out of retirement and took on the number 2 HW and made him quit.
There is no way Haye KOs either brother...Once he feels the thuding jab and one right cross he is going to shell up a bit and take a nice beating over the next 4-5 rounds until he catches one on the chin....and then it's good nite sweet heart well its time to go......
I have no problem with Haye getting a shot at either brother, I mean he did prove himself at cruiser...I just feel by him taking this fight he will have a short lived career...
I rewatched the Peter and Rahman fights and those jabs the brothers throw have to be some of the hardest jabs ever thrown....
What I am saying is that Haye needs to be prepared when he fights Vitali or Wlad just because if he isn't (and he isn't) then he's no different than the so called bums you're talking about although those guys bar Rahman earned their shots. The Klitschko's don't duck anyone....look at the guys fighting for the WBA belt, THOSE GUYS duck everyone with a pulse in the division......Valuev, Ruiz, Chagaev, Holyfield....those guys don't stand a chance in the real world
Audley has never fought anywhere remotely close to top opposition and has never hinted at wanting to, yet continues to run his mouth as if he is something special..
David Haye runs his mouth but he has fought top opposition in cruiserweight and dominated that division (despite what the typical fanboy says). he has also made his intentions clear from the start he wants to go for the best.. That's why I like him.
You talk about Haye not earning a shot yet Vitali gets straight into a title fight after a 4 year absence? Rahman gets a title fight after a win over someone with 8 wins, a win over someone with 12 loses, and a no contest with Toney.. hardly what I call title shot deserving.
#1 Vitali was named WBC Emeritus Champion therefore giving him the shot
#2 Rahman only fought Wlad because Povetkin got hurt and Wlad wanted to keep the date and Rahman was I guess the only guy willing to step up. Also out of respect for Rahman being so cool about when Vitali hurt his back he was given a chance to earn some big money.
If you want David Haye to damage his career then fine by my, all I'm saying is Evander Holyfield prepared himself to fight for titles and once he got to his title shots he won....we'll see what Haye does
I'am a Haye fan i respect he wants to take on the best and he is doing by fighting Vitali. But i would be in total disbelief if he was to win.
