Well I'm afraid rap music really isn't my thing, it's not that I don't like it it's just that it's so beyond my realm of experience and my world that I just sit there clueless, unable to make sense of the words or the sounds.

All I hear is a loud beat and lots of 'fuck this' and 'nigger that', every song sounding exactly the same. It's like if you asked me to play a real life game of Guess Who with a bunch of Chinese people, how the hell would you tell them apart? It's like someone created of clone army of millions of short men in suits with no facial hair and glasses, and paired them with millions of short girls with bow legs, thick white socks, and long black hair. Going to China must be like a visit to an ant colony or hive.

Anyway back to the songs, I quite liked the first one. It sounded like it was sung by the love child of Violent D's dad and Clubber's mum.

well thats just not true Bilbo. all rappers are not the same. only the ones from texas are. but u will be surprised wat some rappers rap about. there are only a few rappers that have different abilities to put words in a different way than others but the rest do sound the same.

I know I'm sure they are not, it's just I can't tell the difference.

But then I'm about as far away from ghetto or street as it's possible to be.

I'm not cool and I'm proud of it. Which I think makes me kind of cool.....

    No....ok

Some nice stuff especially the Jeezy and Buddens 40 Licks was greeeaaat. I think 40 Licks and Old School Mouse were the two most underrated from that album.

Did Fifty have a prime I remember he showed up all of a sudden and he was ass. Maybe he was better before that.

I used to listen to rap. I don't anymore, I'm sure there's some good stuff out there, I'd just have to look and I don't feel like looking. I used to look. Holy fucking shit, I was told that Lil Wayne was good, I had heard a lot about him, that is the single most untalented person ever born. Seriously, nobody's shot him yet Somebody shoot him. If that's taken as some kind of terrorist threat by the FBI I'm totally kidding, I would never promote violence. Ha ha.

I just heard Kanye West on the radio the other day. Unless I'm mistaken, how can that even be considered rap, its not rap.

There used to be a lot of good rap, I just guess I'm not into it anymore.

Even though rap is clearly behind rock IMO I can still listen to Illmatic, I can still listen to Bizarre Ride, a few others, I've lost most of my rap CD's.

I might be getting old I'm still in my 20's.

50 Cent was considered great after his first album. "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" Some great tunes on that. Many Men stands out.

And no Kanye ain't rap, but he still great.
