all of this is really humorous to me.. the people who don't do drugs implying that drugs are disgusting and that it ruins lives, and the people who do smoke weed etc.. saying that they just enjoy it recreationally and don't let it affect their lives in a negative way..

i think it's a matter of misconception.. if you are brought up in a family where alcoholism and drug using played a part in the collapse, then of course you're going to have a negative take on them, due to your pre-disposition of the matter.. but you also have to understand that the majority of people who smoke weed, don't end up doing coke/heroin/crack etc.. or end up in rehab.. those are the addicts who are using drugs, maybe as a crutch in their live to fill some void.. in the same respect the majority of people who drink alcohol, are not alcoholics.. i drink 2-3 (prob more now that i'm done with school) times a week just cause i'm out at bars and parties and what not, but i'm sober right now and am not craving a drink, nor do i NEED to drink tonight by any means..

I can understand completely Ice's opinion on all of this, and especially if drugs or alcohol was the reason someones family fell apart, but i think you also need to understand that drinking and smoking pot can be controlled, and usually is, and is used to enhance a social experience.. I personally, see no problem with that, and i have morals and care about myself and what not.. i don't see where morals plays into this equation, it's not like we're talking about becoming a porn star, or whoring yourself on the streets..

when you see someone letting out a sigh at work, saying, "i need a vacation", sometimes having a few drinks or taking a few hits may be just what you need to take the edge off, we're only human and you only live once..

I have a feeling that if/when you guys go to college (the straight edge guys) you may see a whole new dynamic to life.. meaning non-stop, up all night, drinking and partying.. or at least that's how any college i've ever been to in the states is.. Not saying you guys will conform, or that you will try anything, but from seeing your negative comments about what we say here, you guys may consider your environment the next Sodom and Gomorrah.

don't miss my point, about those that do drugs somehow considering those who don't as 'lame-os". Which is in my opinion, a totally lame thing to do.

I don't look down on people who smoke weed. I in fact suspect my own father does and keeps it very well hidden. I know my sister does. I know many people who do, and choose amongst my friends to hang wth the ones whose worlds don't revolve around it. My experience speaks for why, and it is only that...my experience, not a precursor to a belief about the whole of weed smoking.

Most of the people I hang with now are athletes, football, hockey, combat sports, and smoking of anything is just not really an option...w/e...and some others are just people I like who I find funny as hell, but are that way without the assistance of smoking weed. That's my decision and I'm ok with it. And again...I don't look down on anyone unless they give me a good and usually personal reason to.

yea but you have to be 21 to buy it yourself. u can be 10 yrs old and buy yourself some weed. i like both, and might get some of both tonight i just need someone over 21 to buy it for me.
