Well it's not set in stone yet, so let's see what happens. They need to make a decision soon, because the fight is only a month away, and they need to start selling tickets.
It made no sense to have it in Vancouver to be honest. At least with Pac, you could kinda justify it because of the number of Filipinos in Vancouver.

It would've been really depressing to see them stage a HBO-backed fight in an 18,000 seat arena with only 5,000 people in attendance.
You do realize there are like 3-5 million people in greater Vancouver?

No shit? Wow, thanks for the geography lesson Taeth.

There are well below 3 million people in Greater Vancouver.

I don't think this fight would sell all that well. Boxing is not all that popular in Vancouver, and no one has any interest or attachment to either fighter, and if you think enough people are going going to shell out hundreds of dollars to see that fight to the point of packing GM Place I'd like to hear your reasoning.

Nice I look forward to this, both matches should be actually competitive. I'll take Berto late TKO and Martinez UD on this one. Good matchmaking as far as HBO goes look forward to this one.

Martinez will dominate a lackluster Greene
