If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

He was most famous for holding three titles at one time(Featherweight, lightweight and welterweight). And this was when there was ONLY 8 weight divisions and 1 title per division.
Imagine that today, that would be equivalent to holding The Ring Magazine Championship in six weight division.

i know about henry armstrong, i always look at the top three G.O.A.Ts as follow:
Ali: in the heavy division.
Robinson: in the middle division.
Henry: in the lower division.
I just never heard henry be called hank. Anyways the real point is Max finally give some credit to pac![]()

I have heard only people refer to him as "Hank" now and again...Mostly older fans who were around when Henry was a more common name and most knew Hank was the nickname for it...(Though not sure exactly how that came about)........
Hank Aaron is usually the more known Hank in sports at least here in the states...Personally I get thrown myself for a second when they call Henry Hank..
Hell I just confused myself with this explanation![]()

Did anybody get to see a vid of henrys match against garcia for the middleweight title? was that really a draw or what? I aint seen it but was henry using his elbow illegally, he should of won if points weren't deducted right?

Hank got beat by SRR but he was way past his best. He had a low heart rate so he could throw punches for 15 rounds without getting too tired. He was a whirlwind of a fighter. He had a peak period where he won titles at 3 proper weights against great fighters and only failed the 4th one with a draw. After that it was down hill.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

'Hank(s)' Armstrong was the first man to land on moon...
...on Apollo 13...
I think his real name was either Neil or 'Tom' instead of of Henry, or I might have gotten myself mixed up somewhere, correct me if I'm wrong...

Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
