While I understand its a volume buisness,cripes dude,I used to work for Guardian Photo Labs(fun thought,if you had something developed in 1989,there is every possibility I could have looked at it)and we were under strict orders when sorting to look for bad crops,and nudie shots.
And I should point out,the looking out for nudie shots wasnt what youd think,it was to make sure both participants were consenting adults. And trust me, half of the "models" in those pics,shouldnt have.

Yeah, I would speak to the manager.. It's probably just some kid who thinks he's the cropping whiz and it just like,,, a little more,,, a little more,,, a little more, until there's almost nothing left...

If they don't have an asshole manager or are in a good mood or have good policies or whatever, they should be fine with reprinting them if you weren't happy with the originals... Just say i'm not a fussy person so I really wouldn't come back if it wasn't important to me... Who could say no to that?
