What they should do is require permits to breed animals if they want to stop irresponsible owners from doing it.
dude.. i think you're missing the point about spaying and neutering.. the whole point is so that if for some reason your dog gets out for a few hours without you knowing, or something to that extent, he may get another dog pregnant.. which will lead to more and more puppies going to shelters and dog pounds, that eventually may be euthanized.. there are WAYYYY more pets going into shelters than the amount of owners out there willing to take them in.. It's not cruelty if you care about other dogs besides your own..

so its your dogs balls, or the possible death of a lot of other puppies.. cruel to his balls, yes, but not cruel to animals in general considering it may be saving a lot of dogs lives..

this is also why in a lot of areas they offer reimbursement on the procedure if you rescue a dog from the pound, or at least they offer you a bit of money back if you get the procedure done.
Theres two side to everything you just said, ok a dog gets loose. Whos responsible for that dog? Where does this lead back to or where does it start? The dog owner.period. I think they are not controlling were it all starts and it all starts from dog owners PERIOD. Plus study show it doesn't take just one time for a bitch to get pregnant. Ok a dog gets loose once he bang a bitch...it must take multiple error by dog owners not to prevent this from happening enough time. dogs need to mate multiple time a day during breeding to have puppies. Its really the fucking people, this shit aint no accident.

Possible death of other puppies? that still better then no hope for life. Cruel to every dog going under nuetering or spaying, it takes atleast two weeks for them to recover. Image people going through that cause Gods wanted to limit us breeding? its bullshit really. you know whats a better idea? nueter or spay idiot people from becoming parents. Atleast a dog will do its best to nurture its pups til it can. But again people play in this whole situation. takes the pups away, not enough room at home, not enough food, etc. Its idiotic not to target people in this, its just like breed banning. Its not the damn breed its the people. Even if pits are all banned, dog attacks still stay the same but a different breed to blame.
Julius, you are correct 100% that it is the owners, but unfortunately that's how it is.. I mean think of the HUMAN race.. If i drive 5 minutes from my house i'll be in a bad area of Providence where i bet 88% of the kids that live there are the product of a parent going around and sleeping with some guy, not using protection, getting pregnant, having the baby, and not supporting them.. This is how poverty rates rise.. More and more people have kids that they can't support.. not only can they not support them physically with money, but mentally it's a WHOLE other story..

with that said, if we could cut the balls off of all these people doing this, then there may be less crime, less poverty, less taxes, etc..

that's the idea behind spaying/neutering.. You have to take some sort of damage control, because you KNOW that dogs are going to get loose, and unfortunately some owners shouldn't even have dogs, but there is NO way around that.. so by making it impossible for dogs to bread, then you are limiting the amount of dogs being euthanized at pounds, and in general you're limiting the amount of dogs that may end up into a bad owners hand..

yes, you made a good point about spaying/neutering parents, like i said.. but unfortunately that's a bit unrealistic, and we need to deal with the problem at hand..
