Default Ever seen a Superman Punch in boxing?

JCC showcases the first ever superman punch, against none other than the Black Mamba Roger Mayweather. No wonder Roger hated Mexicans

Used to love watching JJC fight in his prime.

They used to show most of his fights on SKY TV in the UK.

Aaron Pryor had plenty of those types throughout his career. Why not Mayweather couldn't get anything off backpedaling like that and his hands were low. That one caught me off guard the first time I saw it.

Is that a Superman punch? That's a lunging/leaping roundhouse right. I consider a "superman" punch to be a straight left from an orthodox fighter when he's using it as part of a combination. Unlike a jab, where you don't use much body twist, if you throw a straight left after a right cross (instead of the usual cleanup hook), if you put body weight into it, it's becomes like a superman punch. Zab Judah and PacMan both use it from time to time.

Sorry I was gonna make the thread title read:

"Ever seen a lunging/leaping roundhouse right with body twist"

But it was it too long

I don't mean to split hairs. I forgot that the post was on the main board and not the training board It's gets all kinds of technical over there.
