He certainly is in love with some of the guys. He misleads a lot of fans, and his half truths turn things plainly into lies. IF you want honest truth I think Max Kellerman is the best for that, he calls it like it is, and he does so without bias. He actually has attained knowledge of the sport, probably has boxed a bit. Merchant fails as a wordsmith, he fails as a knowledgable person in the sport, and he fails as a commentator.

ROFLMAO Kellerman isnt fit to fetch and carry Larry's drinks for him . Kellerman has an enormous ego and very little else. The only thing he boxed were Christmas presents

Kellerman knows way more about boxing then Larry. He might not be as entertaining, but his knowledge, his ability to see the truth for what it is far surpasses any of the diatribes that come out of Merchant's mouth.

Kellerman knows way more about boxing then Larry. He might not be as entertaining, but his knowledge, his ability to see the truth for what it is far surpasses any of the diatribes that come out of Merchant's mouth.

Absolutely agree on that, he seems to have a far greater depth of knowledge that he doesn't just wheel out to show what a clever fucker he is. I do think though he wouldn't be able to get away with some of the shit Merchant does, simply because I think Larry's age protects him from any possible aggression when takes the piss outta some boxers.
