Suprised nobody has mentioned Tarver KOing Jones with his eyes closed and looking at the floor.
What makes it even worse is that he's getting hit at the same time he lands it... He set that one up alright...

I've watched the KO several times. It's one of my favorites. I say that Tarver wasn't looking at the ground when he threw the punch. He raised his head when he threw the punch.

Tarver made Jones pay for his biggest technical flaw - poor positioning with his right hand when throwing his left. That wasn't a luck punch. That was a perfect punch.

Who knows Tarver could have been working on that I know Marciano would throw a lot of punches with his eyes down to get his opponent to drop his hands.
Of course I'm bullshitting here.
