Haye is starting to grow on me a little but even so, i don't even think haye himself inside knows if he can steamroll any of the top heavy's, so i sure as hell don't. I know he like to belive he can, but that is only good pre-fight. In the ring that's another thing. I couldn't say who would win whoever got hit first i guess. Both would be capable of winning this fight.

Haye hasn't proven he can hang with any top level heavyweight. The Barrett fight was a farce, and even that looked unconvincing.

What Haye should really do is have a couple of fights against top 10 ranked opponents to see if he can really hang with the big two. The fact that he is wanting to get to the top over the HW division without challenging some tough opponents first, makes me question him. There is little to suggest he can hang with the Klit brothers.

An opponent like Areolla would be a decent test for Haye, as would Sam Peter, or Thompson. or even (double ahem) James Toney.

Arreola power + Haye chin = Haye flat on his back
haye clipped barret a few times and that was enough to send him down... the first clean shot that hit Barret completely fucked him... obviously haye isn't going to have the power of some of the bigger heavyweights... he lacks the size and weight but you'd be pretty stupid to doubt that he doesn't have the power to hang with the division

I'd love to see him box sam peter, I think that'd be the best yard stick for him.

The topic may be overdone, but this article puts forth a trajectory for Arreola's career that makes sense.

Arreola: On the Side of Caution?

I think the ideas the author has for Arreola's career would apply with for-the-most part, equally to Haye's.

You sure impress easy don't you? It was Monte Barrett. Saying it out loud. Monte Barrett. 37 year old, never won a big fight in his life Monte Barrett. Cliff Couser knocked him out. Yes that Cliff Couser.

That's not what I'm saying. You're making out as if Barrett was taking haye's best shots for 5 rounds before finally succumbing getting KO'd.

When did I say that Barrett had a massive chin or that Haye's power was extremely impressive at heavyweight. I actually said to the contrary "obviously haye isn't going to have the power of some of the bigger heavyweights... he lacks the size and weight"

You really are stupid aren't you. If you actually read people's posts properly you wouldn't come off as being so retarded.

I did read (and laughed) at your moronic post. And this is what your dumb ass said

"you'd be pretty stupid to doubt that he doesn't have the power to hang with the division"

Based on what? Cuz he stopped almost everybody at Cruiserweight? Nah. Cruisers ain't Heavy's. Maybe cuz he stopped Monte Barrett? Not good enough. Barrett was the same size as him and 37 years old. Oh I know. Cuz he stopped Heavyweight Tomaz Bonin a couple years ago, right? LOL. No. Bonin was smaller than Haye. Not to mention he's crap. Facts are Haye hasn't stopped or faced an opponent bigger or stronger than him. So to say he has the power to hang with the division is (like you) stupid. Cuz it hasn't been proven.

David would toy with this fat dickhead and pick him apart before levelling him out with a Hayemaker!!
What's all the fuss about him?
Just proves how sh*t the heavies have been in recent years if people are seriously thinking that he's anything special
He'll get found out in a few months then we'll see the real #1 contender have his chance to prove his worth!!
Arreola............. do me a favour...................Coca Cola would have more chance!
Chris Arreola is tough he hits hard and he has pretty decent speed, i could see Chris Arreola losing the early rounds. Then he comesback and stops David Haye in the later rounds, David Haye's stamina, chin, are still very suspect but im still rooting for him all the way.

I don't think anyone thinks Chris Arreola is special, i've never seen anyone overrate him on this site. But if he could lose that flab he could be more of a force, but he is what he is a tough brawler with a good chin and decent speed who packs a punch. I could see him beating alot of Heavyweights including David Haye.

    I missed this memo.

Arreola is exactly what he appears to be. A talented and lazy heavyweight with good power and a hard chin. As soon as he cracks the top ten he will lose that goose egg.
    Oops

Haye will be KO'd inside 5 rounds!
