I don't know what Pac's team are thinking. Do they really think a fight with Mayweather could firstly generate much more than this fight and secondly, that Floyd would agree a 50:50 split to fight Manny?

I can only assume Pacs team are testing waters. To pass up on a great fight against the main man at 140, just because he made a bit against the Orange Satan would be a bit silly! I wouldnt have thought it a particularly difficult fight to hammer out. Im sure Manny is up for the fight no matter what. Its the people in his entourage/advisory commitee complicating things.

I would have thought Hatton brought the lions share of money to the gig. Certainly in fan numbers.

Is Pac gonna sell more PPV than Hatton in the States? Considering his numbers pre Oscar, I wouldn't have thought he brings that much

Anyway.. So we're all in agreement that Pac's bottled it. Good.

Seems that way. 60:40 is just silly. If that's Manny's offer then he is a chicken, no doubt.

Pac's just testing the waters I think. He has more options than Hatton since he can go back to lightweight as well. Probably thinks Hatton needs him more than the other way round.

Hatton does need him more than Pacman needs Hatton, 60-40 is probably right with negoiations Hatton will get his 50-50 split so don't fret Fatman fans!
Pac can go back and get Marquez 3 or anyone else he wants, he just KO'd the PPV king of the last 10 years so that puts the ball in his court. The fight will happen and everyone will be happy including Hatton.

I'm in favor for PAC having the lion's share of the purse split, maybe not less than 55% due to these reasons:
    - PAC the no. 1 P4P boxer
    - PAC the "hottest" boxer right now
    - PAC the early betting favorite against Hatton
    - Hatton got only 30% share in the PBF fight (from what I've read)
    - PAC got only 35% share in the Hoya fight
    - PAC the no. 1 boxer at 140 (according to BoxRec )
    - PAC has huge fanbase (maybe a very close second to Hatton's)

I'm just joking Miles. We all know it's bollocks boxing shenanigans.. be a shame if they don't fight though

Yes, it would be a shame. Manny has a big army around him and Im sure he seldom chooses his opponent anyway. Its all down to his advisory commitee. They, of course, chew the required labels.
