Can Jennings pull off a Shock and beat Cotto?

I'd have agreed if it were a pre Margarito "Miguel Cotto" but what's Cotto gonna be like?
Very few fighters are ever the same after that sort of sustained beating .... Just look at Lacy.
Never a better time to face Cotto for someone like Jennings

Sure, look at lacy, Jeff lacy was embarrassed and never let into the fight, showed massive floors and didnt look as fit as he should havebeen down the stretch..

What that fight did to change him was took away his heart, his undefeated mentality.. twelve whole rounds against a guy and he couldnt just snap out of it and throw the home run punches.. his confidence and everything else was effected..

Miguel Cotto had boxed well.. hit margarito hard.. and cotto hasnt received much criticism for his performance because the smart people all along had their money on margarito cause he style said this fight was going to play out in the way it did.. you could have guessed margo would wear him down but it was just whether or not miguel could bag at least 7 rounds in the process of a war with a big bad man following him the whole time..
So he doesnt deserve criticism.. cause that was the style of how the fightwas going to play out.. and in most peoples opinion cotto will come back and fight on.. but margarito is not the ideal opponent for him!..
he'll be hella ballsy to rematch him but some guys take losses, never look for a rematch and move on with their careers just fine.
i think cotto has every reason to come back, he took a beating.. but he can take pride in his performance, i think there'll be a future problem with margarito and margarito only..

And if i sway to the subject that is actually jennings - cotto i just dont think mike jennings can do it.. good guy.. just that bit better then british and europian/commonwealth titles etc.. but theres no place for him in the strong welter division..

hey.. i dont like hearing people say that about collazo.. but i think its truer of jennings then collazo..

but this is boxing and we are going to see about both real soon!

I see this fight going one of two ways.

1 - Cotto toys with Jennings, just like he did with Gomez, in order to get some rounds in, and then takes him out in the middle rounds.

2 - Cotto wants to make a big statement, and takes him out as quickly as possible.

No. Cotto is a world class fighter with a great resume. Jennings will be lucky to see the fourth round.
