This looks to be one hell of a match. I see Khan as improved, and Barrera being a bit up there in age, makes for a very close and competitive fight.
The match is a defining moment for either fighter. I can imagine a win or a loss will pretty much show doors opening or closing for the MAB, or Amir.
It’s a coin flip I'm one with reluctance to toss. I want to see more of Amir Khan. His eye-opening experience from the Roach camp proved him a worthy warrior of great character. He will be a valuable asset to the boxing world if and when he progressively moves onward. The reluctance for me is the possibility of a loss for Barrera. I will view it with sadness if another great warrior will come to terms with physical limitations, that only ageing can dictate. If proven wrong, this one I will accept with a welcome surprise.
At this juncture, I am unconvinced of either fighter’s advantage over the other. At a later stage, logic will surely find its way to my line of thinking.
