Garbage fight Omar Sheika is totally shot and even at his best, he was only goodish. It shouldn't be a bad style match up, it should be exciting but its still a sad fight to see.

Believe they can both wear the 'shot' tag in all fairness?

Not happy about the fight Roy is 40 now hopefully this is a farewell fight for all his fans and to go out with a win.

RJJ was unbelievable in his prime Omar Sheika in his prime, was only ever an exciting goodish fighter. If RJJ was in his prime this fight would of never of happened, seems like a pointless/sad fight to me. But action wise you should get your money's worth.

I hope so too. Its a fight in front of his home fans, against a fighter who isnt particularly good. A win and then goodbye is what Im hoping for. There isnt much point fighting on beyond that.

A hasbeen vs a never was fight. Kinda like Vinny Pazienza's last fight. At least it didn't take Roy two years to find cannon fodder he could whip easily like it took Paz.

I think Jones is way more shot than Sheika. I like Sheika he makes for exciting fights, blood and guts. I think he still has it in him to give good runs to the upper eschelon. Furthermore, Jones Jr. is slowly becoming a bit of an ODLH, won't be long now until he's interrupting relevant fights so he and his opponents will have good paydays. I hope this fight doesn't happen.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Hopefully a retirement fight for Roy. Certainly not an easy win.

Does Jones carry anywhere near the clout, marketability, and money-making potential as ODH though?
