Black or white, he is still a politician. The early signs are promising, but dont expect any big changes here. He's still a right of centre Democrat.

the puppet on the left is to my liking, hmm, the puppet on the right is to my liking.
If obama is a great president then I don't think that any major changes he will brings will really be seen until he is out of office (unless he has at least 2 terms)
He's got so much shit left over from the bush administration, got to pull out of Iraq without it crumbling like a jenga tower, got to fix the economy and deal with a lot of strained diplomatic relations (I see relations with other countries as taking the least time)
Even though these seeds have been planted years ago I'd hate to see Obama take the blame for things like the economy... shame it didn't come to a head a few months ago instead of as he's getting inaugurated
He certainly seems to have united the states, it reminds me when Blair came to government and we saw the end of the Tories. Hope it does not end the same way for him.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
As a Yank,Ive never seen this country so enthused and united for a President,I understand,as does most of the country, that he's got a hell of a mess to clean up.
But anything, including a statue, would be better then whats happened over the years
