    Default Ali Funeka

Been watching clips of him and I finally realize who he reminds me of...

    The late great Chico Corrales.

Im becoming a big fan of Ali, I hope he continues up the ranks. This guy has good power and i think he even has quicker hands then chico.

What you guys think of him?

thanks for the respond, it seems like nobody here knows much about him. His known as the guy who knock zahir raheem the xxxx out.

uhm i dont have any clips to post but you can try youtube.

his a quality fighter man, his record is like 30 with 25 ko's with just 1 defeat via decision. Im hoping to see more of this guy.

I have his fight with Raheem. And I seen some footage of his fight with Amidu. That's it. Not enough for me to form an opinion. What clips you seen? Who was he fighting?

Based on the clips I saw from his fight with Amidu I would agree

I've only seen 2 Funeka fights the Zahir fight and vs. Zollano.

I think his tall awkward style while give Nate problems. But having seen very little of Funeka I have to favor Nate to outwork him...

Judging by that Zahir fight, he looks like a pretty conventional, technically sound fighter to me. I have to favor Nate as well, but Funeka does look big and dangerous. Should be a good fight!

I think Funeka is very capable but aside of Raheem he hasn't fought anyone at the level of Campbell! The layoff due to the Guzman cancelation & the fact that Nate has never been mister consistant may make things interesting but I think The Galaxxy Warrior has worked to hard to get where he is... he hass Marquez & Barrera in his sights I he don't want to let that slip away without a fight. Could make for an outstanding fight!!! But I think Campbell grinds Funeka down & wins a close tough fight, possibly even by later stoppage!

Shitty luck for Campbell, he doesn't get Guzman or JMM, then he gets a rough mandatory. No breaks for Nate. Funeka won't get him alot of recognition, and he is a tough big lightweight. Should be a very good fight.

Also, are they showing the whole card on hbo? That card has Campbell-Funeka, Martinez-Cintron, and Angulo-Mayorga. That is a damn good card.

exactly nate is inconsistent, i really think ali is going to take him out. Sure Ali only fought and beat one named oppenent and that was raheem. Who has nate beaten lately? Juan Diaz? thats it. We all love how nate dominated him but people should not overlook ali and overhype nate by that single win over juan diaz.

I got ali, this guy has speed and power and nates chin has failed him in the past.

I agree. Nate has been very unlucky recently. Now he is forced to defend his belts against a younger, taller, awkward opponent. And so what if he wins? Does it put him in a better bargaining position for other fights? Probably not.

Hopefully, he wins and gets a much-deserved match against Marquez or Pacquiao.

Nate has the experience, desire, and talent to beat Funeka, but it should be a rough one.

    And the card is bananas.
