expensive bit, i'm going to have a wash and everything.

I hear the low tier has a good view, should be nice and rowdy.

Got tickets this morning guys for me and a couple of mates. Paid £50. Did the same for the Prescott fight and I had a decent view. TBH, even the cheap seats have a decent view at the MEN. Been there numerous times.

Wow! You guys could have like a Saddoboxing gathering at the fight. I'm getting excited for you guys...

For those of you who do go, I hope it's a great fight and enjoy your time there! Not so often a great Mexican fighter as big as Barrera come around your parts..

If he's in training for his next fight he's not likely to break camp for a quick news presser. He knows. Like I said. He is fighting on the 31st. If he doesn't get beat up the Khan fight is on.

I still think it would have be wiser for all concerned the announce the fight after that date just to be 100% because if it doesn't happen there will lots of very angry boxing fans hating on Warren even more than usual.
Can't see what difference a couple of weeks would have made except all the press Khan has been getting...

Talking Re: anyone bought tickets for Khan Barrera yet?

Read this on the Beeb comments board -wanted to share.

"This is a funny fight: Barrera is now a slow, old, average sized featherweight, Khan is BIG lightweight but with such a bad chin, that even MAB could wobble him and possibly force a stoppage if 'Trash-Khan' does his impression of a 10-year old kid who's had too much fizzy-pop and starts jumping in-and-out of Barerra's face. Barrera is approaching 'shotness' but Khan is a borderline bum."

    Barrera wins, suffers cut!
    Solis TKOs Meza-Clay in eliminator
    By Lee Bates

Ring legend Marco Antonio Barrera (65-6, 43 KOs) won by third round disqualification over emergency replacement Freudis Rojas (1-8-1) on Saturday night at the Auditorio Telmex de la UG in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. Rojas was DQ’d for a headbutt which left Barrera with a bad gash over his left eye. The cut could jeopardize Barrera’s scheduled March 14 clash against Amir Khan in Manchester, England. Barrera was originally slated to face John Nolasco on Saturday night, but Nolasco didn’t show up at the weigh-in, so Marco Antonio was pressed into facing Rojas, whom he knew absolutely nothing about.
    ———-
In the co-feature, featherweight Jorge Solis (37-1-2, 27 KOs) scored a fifth round stoppage of Monty Meza Clay (28-2, 19 KOs) in an IBF eliminator.

Watch Warren bring in some bum to fight Khan now.

Just like when Pinto pulled out vs Hatton so he brought in Pederson instead of Witter . Khan will get an easy payday.

I knew Warren should have waited until Barreras next fight was over til he announced the Khan fight .
