    It may be the case with ITV but Hennessy knew the dates for the purse bids before Froch fought Pascal and would have been negotiating with British TV companies then to see how much they were willing to pay so that he could make his bid. Using British TV problems now as an excuse is no excuse, it does look like they're avoiding the fight.

    I agree that Froch deserves respect for making his first defence (or even second or third) in the States but I'll believe it when I see it. I'm guessing the Trent FM arena for the forseeable future.
