Froch is NOT THE CHAMP.. He is a paper alphabet title holder... You really think Taylor gives 2 shits about a fing belt?

Taylor has been in the ring with

    Hopkins 2X
    Wright
    Pavlik 2X
    Lacy

Who the F has Fraud been in there with?? Jean Pascal LOL!! You funny man

Froch needs to fight someone for chrise sakes

Hopkins 2X (lost in my opinion)
    Wright (a draw)
    Pavlik 2X (lost ha ha)
Lacy (everyone on this site say lacy was always crap and well overated)

not a good choice from you
I saw those fights the same way, but it doesn't change the fact that he has at least been in the ring with real top level competition. Froch has made a big hype about how he would fight anyone, anywhere, how he would beat up Joe etc etc & this kinda shows that him & Hennessy were chattin shit. I do think he can beat Taylor tho
Froch hasnt demonstrated anything other than he is a heavier and poorer version of Darchinyan. A technical mess and 1 dimensional.

Taylor is younger, technically sound, experienced and more athletic as well as big fight experience

Darchinyan knocks people out in world title fights. Pound for pound people too.

Darchinyan has big-time credentials. He has stepped in the ring with talented opposition. Give Vic a little credit.

    - Sorry I saw you already apologized. Vic may be a prick, but he always steps to the plate.

To gain respect outside of those from Nottingham, Froch shouldn't fight "gimme's," he should fight the Bika's, Miranda's, and Green's of the world. Bika needs a fight and he would go to England. Beat Bika and my opinion on Froch would begin to change. Besides his unabashed arrogance, I don't dislike "the Cobra," but comparing him to Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor or any of the other top 68's is undeserved and diminishes their accomplishments.

To put it in perspective, Peter Manfredo has been in with much better competition than Froch (Calzahge, Bika, Mora Jr., Jeff Lacy). Froch should be able to get those kinds of fights if Manfredo can.

I agree and yea, sometimes I forget how well Vic rebounded after getting chinned. He certainly had the mental toughness to bounce back better than before.

Also good comparison to Manfredo, if Peetey can get some heavy hitters in the ring, than Froch should be able to do the same

Well, the thing is Taylor is the mandatory. If DiBella wants to be hard-headed, he can make sure he wins the purse bid and then Froch's side has no choice but to take the fight on his terms or else be stripped of the title.

Of course, Froch could easily win the purse bid to fight Taylor too, right?
