I'm sure i read ITV wont show anymore fights in the early hours.. which obviously Froch-Taylor would be from the states.

But.. I'd be surprised if Froch didn't have one or two "gimme" defences before stepping up.

Respect to him if he makes his first defence in the challengers backyard
How many more gimmes does he need? It's all he's had his whole career

so he is the champ aint he!
Maybe of your heart. But in Boxing no he's not. Can't be a champ if you never beat one.

Whether its Froch's fault or the WBC's fault it dont change the fact that Froch has a belt without fighting anyone remotely good.
Shit even laughing stock of the 168 division Mundine has fought Kessler, Ottke, Soliman, Green, Echols, and Siaca.
Then u go and criticise Taylos record who love him or hate him has fought, champions, future hall of famers and dangerous punchers. He has fought atleast 7 or 8 fighters better than Frochs top opponent in Pascal.

    Hopkins x 2
    Wright
    Pavlik x 2
    Ouma
    Spinks
    Joppy

That is a solid resume win lose or draw, and has proven Taylor is world class.
Froch may go on to be a great champ, and i'll freely admit im wrong, but as of now he has done nothing but win a belt against a limited opponent and he didnt do that overly easy either.
There is a difference between being a beltholder, and being a champ.

For months Froch has been accusing Taylor of ducking him, when the reality is that Taylor still had a contract with HBO when he was first offered a shot at Froch for the WBC belt, and HBO had no interest in Froch.

So the fight wasn't made for tv reasons on Taylor's side.

Now it seems that Hennessy is using the tv excuse himself as a reason they haven't accepted DiBella's offer.

Anyone else see the irony here?

I wonder if Froch will start accusing himself of ducking.

yeah i hold my hands up i am basing froch winning against taylor more on gut instinct than facts, fact is taylor has met much better oposition. just never thought he was that good a champion. just shows that these titles mean fk all, ditch them all & lets get everyone fighting everyone no more mandatory or anything like that, we the fans would know who is the best then, what an ideal world that would be, oh wait MONEY MONEY MONEY thats what matters i suppose though
