I like Chavez and all but I think Benny Leonard, Hank Armstrong, Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran, Ray Leonard, and Tommy Hearns might disagree with Chavez being the "first p4p king".


JC Chavez's tenacity and determination reminds me a lot of Marciano and honestly JC's win over Taylor mirrored Marciano KO-ing Walcott only #1 Chavez waited until the last seconds of the fight to land his punch and #2 Rocky dropped Walcott and Joe didn't get back up...but other than that very similar, those guys never showed frustration and they kept fighting and kept going forward and it paid off.
