    Exclamation Hatton-Pacquiao fight back on!!

Seems like it is already sign, Pacquiao agreed on the terms and fax in the sign documents to top rank. We should hear word from them later on today in the morning...

" Pound-for-pound kingpin Manny Pacquiao phoned promoter Bob Arum early Thursday evening in Los Angeles and informed the Top Rank chairman that he had signed his contract to fight Ricky Hatton on May 2 in Las Vegas, reviving a megafight that seemingly had died a day earlier.
Pacquiao, who defeated Oscar De La Hoya on Dec. 6 in one of his most impressive and dominant performances, had been balking at signing to fight Hatton because he was not pleased with the 50-50 split.
Arum had been been frustrated with Pacquiao and hadn’t spoken to him in more than two weeks. Pacquiao also had not been taking calls from his trainer and close friend, Freddie Roach.
But Pacquiao reversed course on Thursday and agreed to the deal. Arum said he had to do something for Pacquiao contract-wise, but said “it is nothing that will hurt me.”

He said Pacquiao told him he faxed the signed contract to Top Rank’s office in Las Vegas and emailed a copy to the company’s attorney. Arum is in Los Angeles co-promoting a Saturday fight at the Staples Center between Antonio Margarito and Shane Mosley.
“When we get in and open the office on [Friday] morning, hopefully the contract is on the fax machine and we have a fight,” Arum said. "

Team hatton havent seen or heard about the contract and hattons lawyer said there isnt even a contract for 52/48 split altho it was offered there was never a contract written out.

There is so many rumours on net there everywhere,i just keep checking hattons site for confirmation either way.

Good to hear Manny may have given in, maybe he come on here and saw everyone calling him a pussy..

The BBC website are also saying the fight is back on (well, maybe) and they only follow sources from the fighters thereself.

    '
Pacquiao was said to be seeking a 60-40 split, but a spokesman for the Filipino's promoter Bob Arum told BBC Sport he may sign a contract next week.
If it goes ahead, the fight is likely to take place in Las Vegas on 2 May.

"On Tuesday Bob will meet Manny and he hopes to sign him to an agreement," Top Rank's Bill Caplan told BBC Sport.
"If that goes well they will have press conferences in Manila and Cebu City on Wednesday.

"Bob is very optimistic, that's why after a fight week in Los Angeles [Antonio Margarito fights Shane Mosley on Saturday], at the age of 77, he's hopping on a plane to the Philippines."

"Manny had a problem with one thing in the deal but we worked it out," Arum said. "I massaged something in the deal, which I'm not going to tell you about, but it didn't cost me anything. We got it done."

    What the hell is that?

thats what you call BS. it wont cost him anything coz he will be getting his share no matter what pac gets. he figure since profits will be split 50/50 with GBP, pac should get 50 split with hatton too.

I will refrain from LOLing at every one calling Manny a pussy until the contract is officially signed. But I'm already in preparations for it, like Oscar I'm in the best shape of my life.

end of the day manny knows it would be stupid to turn down such a big money fight. i thought the whole not signing the contract thing might of been a bit of hyping the fight up in a weird kind of way .glad it is all back on tho . COME ON
