What are we looking at in this picture?

I would guess some of the rockies in Banff Park, not really sure though.

no, not part of the Rockies. It's quite well known, for those that know mountains. But not Everest either.

OK, that's close enough. It starts with the letter A and had 4 syllables. It's Annapurna actually, tenth highest in the world. I just figured you'd know it Scrap, being a climber.

It's supposed to be the most dangerous of the big mountains, with 4 people dead for every 10 to reach the summit.

Sorry mate I didnt Antartica was the answer to the previous question, Annapurna there are four peaks from memory the range is2 6000 at the 1st to 23000 they are the first big ones you come to.

Depens when you tackle it certain times in the year it Avalanches a lot its not to difficult, but a lot of weak partys attempt it.
