Round 3: They trade early, left hooks and it looks like Margarito's confidence is growing, Mosley puts some distance between the two and lunges from the outside to hold on. May have been a bit stunned, comes right pack pumping the jab against Margarito's guard and lands a left hook around the guard. They tussle inside and Margarito complains about another headbutt. Mosley pitterpats around Margarito's guard, gets him to drop the left and nails him with a stiff right hand that got Margarito to smile. Another one, same smile and for the first time Margarito is getting in those same type of punches that he got in in the early rounds against Cotto's, taking 1 for Mosley's 2. Mosley slips a left hook in late and steps out of range only to be met by a Margarito straight right. Margarito falls in, they both square up and trade to the bell.

Round 3: Last exchange was the best of the fight so far probably. Margarito leaving his jab out there, Mosley ducks away, turns southpaw and leaps inside with a looping left. Shane is an awesome fighter, really pounding to the body especially from the outside he's sneaking shots in under the elbows. Mosley seeing and slipping the jab well, leaning inside it a lot with his hands down but has gotten away with it so far. Margarito lands a good straight right with Mosley on the ropes, Mosley doesn't straw he fires a couple jabs and then snaps Margarito's head back with a straight right. An overhand right hits Margarito on the forehead at the bell. Mosley turning Margarito beautiful.

Round 4: Naazim told Mosley to keep turning Margarito, that's how Mosley is winning a lot of these inside exchanges. Mosley staying out of range early, forces Margarito to lunge way in with a straight right. It's not the start of these Margarito combos hitting Mosley, it's the second and third punches. Mosley not so offensive this round, Margarito really digging inside getting lots of punches off. Mosley back to firing with a good left hook/right hand combination from the outside. Margarito reaches with a jab and a left hook checks him coming forward. Another left hook for Shane, closes the round strong enough to probably win it. Only round 5...
