    its a shame he was the voice for yrs (got used to him on tv with his top commentating & was real funny as well)

    Like many UK Saddonians, you grew up with Reg as Big H wrote- the voice of boxing. The UK boxing scene and his commentary went hand in hand.
    Seemed to be of the old school and a gent.

    Never realised he lost a leg in WW2 from stepping on a landmine
    Might dig out the "Reg n Harry's" fight night from the loft.
    Brilliant hour and a half of histories top fights starting off way back with Dempsey etc and going through the worlds best fights
    Really is a must have for any fight fan
