Mosley can only really fight one way, he is one dimensional. Mayweather can do too many things, and he is way more fluid, I think Oscar and Hatton were more dangerous opponents for his style.

I've wanted this fight since Mosley was a lightweight. Now may be the peak time of both their careers for this fight. If PBF ever fights again then it has to happen. Who else? Everybody else has other fights ahead. Plus, this fight makes the most sense. I think the Mosley that showed up against Margarito makes it interesting but I will not allow myself to become delusional by how he picked Margarito apart. Margarito gets hit with everything and only fights straight forward. Mayweather is so superior technically that I think he would eventually frustrate or at least thwart any strategy that the Mosley team believes would be best. Thats when you will see Mosley just want to bang and he winds up and throws everything into his punches. PBF will see those punches coming that Margarito couldn't. I see something like an 8 rounds to 4 fight. Competitive but clear cut PBF decision. I like Mosley sneaky left hook. That would be his best asset against PBF. Throw that early and often.
Would be a really good matchup. Floyd never really faced a proper top level full blown WW. And no, I dont count Baldomir nor PBF's dalliance at 154 with Oscar.
Floyd has been out a long time too, Mosley would have a decent shot IMO.
i wouldnt say mosley is one dimensional but he has looked it in some of his recent fights before margarito (ie, mayorga, cotto) so i see what you mean. based on the performance on saturday though id say it would be a very good match up, but then again i cant help thinking that mosley wouldnt be too hard for mayweather to figure out.
Pbf defense is just to good to get hit flush like the defenseless Marg.
Taeth you are fucking idiot. You really are. I used to think that maybe we just had different viewpoints because you like a different type of fighter or fight. But how in the hell can you say that Oscar or Hatton are more dangerous opponents? The shit that comes out of your mouth sometimes makes me chuckle but it is all shit nonetheless.
