well now, if a fighter today, went on national tv says he wants to fight a guy, then shows up after cleaning out his divison and says "i mightaswell move up and fight you." and he dismisses it...he's ducking!!!!
You see in the video, SRL wanted no part of pryor....the same and PBF and SSM...he's clearly ducking shane. But Shane beating margo forces PBF to either stay retired, or fight PACMAN if he beats hatton. SO after hatton beats pacman...floyd will stay retired. if pacman wins, you will see floyd pull a bitch move and try to jusitfy a fight with PACMAN of Shane...

thats because you're a noob, and since i've been a member of this forum ive said shane is the only person that can beat floyd. So just because you have shit coming out of your eyes from having your head stuck up floyd's ass doesn't mean its "all of a sudden"...check my post history from all the back in 2005....

Dude, Mayweather shoudl have fought Shane instead of ODH. Clearly he should fight the man who beat ODH twice. I mean it's easy to say nwo that we have everything unfold. ODH gets beat up, Shane come off his biggest win... But I have been callign PBF adn SSM for years. Shane TKO10 if I ever get to put money on that fight.

- and I quote from some random guy on the internet
When Mayweather signed on to fight Oscar, Oscar had just KO'ed Mayorga and Mosley had barely beaten Vargas(who Mayorga later manhandled), and even his second victory over Vargas wasn't as impressive as what Oscar did to Mayorga.
Furthermore, maybe you should watch Mosley-ODLH II again, Oscar landed like a 100 more punches, he outboxed Mosley decisively the first half of the fight, and won his fair share of the second half of the fight, his movement made it largely impossible for Mosley to effectively get off like he did in the first fight, which further makes me believe that Floyd's movement and jab would leave Mosley very disgruntled in the ring.

that fight with oscar was at 154..all that proved was that oscar's body could handle the weight better than shane...obviously because oscar has fought at 160.
That's like saying the weight at 147 for hatton didn't have an effect on him when he fought floyd...although he'd lose to floyd at anyweight point is, his skills are maximized at 140. much like shane is maxed at 147.
Floyd at 140. and fighting shane at 147 equals possible lost.

Sugar Ray Leonard was at Welterweight Aaron Pryor was at Jr Welterweight. Aaron Pryor wasn't willing to move up to fight the big boys, thats why it didn't happen.
Sugar Ray Leonard fought a prime Roberto Duran, Prime Thomas Hearns, i seriously doubt he would duck Aaron Pryor.
Lastly Floyd Mayweather offered Shane Mosley the fight, but didn't Shane Mosley claim he was going on holiday or something like that ? and he turned it down.
Thats the only offer i've heard from either fighter, no one is ducking anyone and i would like to know what proof you have Floyd Mayweather ducked Shane Mosley.
I guess people forget when PBF called out Sugar Shane many times when Shane was cleaning out the lightweights. It was right before he moved up to welter. Sugar Shane is my favorite fighter of all time but I keep it unbiased when I know what the truth is I am not going to act like I'm ignorant and blurt out distorted information to keep the wool over people's eyes. Shane would not beat PBF. Sugar Shane was offered a fight by PBF but I don't know why it never materialized. But I never read Sugar Shane offer PBF a fight. So how do we all of a sudden have this cult of people saying PBF is ducking Sugar Shane? Hilarious, remember we had the cult of PBF ducking Vivian Harris? Then it was PBF ducking Hatton. Then it was PBF ducking Cotto. Then it was PBF ducking Margarito. Now its PBF ducking Sugar Shane. This is comical and just plain wishful hoping. You know what I am going to start the cult of Sugar Shane is ducking Paul Williams. You can't prove me wrong and since Sugar Shane isn't calling him out then all I need is anti-Sugar followers and I look legitimate. I'm not a big PBF fan but that dude is the most hated on man in all of sports. It'd be nice for him to just stay retired and laugh at his critics because whatever he does it'll never be enough to stop the ducking rants. Lets move on. There are plenty of good active fighters who need to face each other.

I think Floyd Mayweather is blatantly ducking Sugar Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran & Julio Cesar Chavez. The pussy![]()
Yeah, great points! I find it hard to believe Ray was afraid of Aaron when he fought all the guys you listed. Also, if Aaron really wanted Ray that badly, why didn't he move up to 147 & win a title there or at least move up to 147 & look impressive @ that weight to force a fight with Ray? Aaron fought @ 140 & below until 1985. In 1987 he fought Bobby Joe Young @ 148 & was stopped in the 7th for his only loss. Aaron was a great puncher @ 140 but Ray took the bombs Hearns threw so I think he could handle Aaron's power @ 147. Aaron was able to take the shots from Alexis (a LW moving up & past his prime) @ 140 but would Aaron have been able to take Ray's best shots (left hook) @ 147?

I will, can't do that @ work. But that doesn't change the fact that if he took the best punch Hearns could throw @ him, what would Aaron have that's worse? Who knows, maybe there was a Manny/Hatton tug of war going on back then too but behind the scenes. Maybe Ray wanted a larger slice of the pie than Pryor was willing to accept.

whats the point in moving up if the guy isn't offering you the fight? which is another good question to ask...Why didn't leonard sign him to a fight and make him come up to 147?
If leonard fought "everybody" but pryor, who ended his career with one loss, why didn't he fight pryor?
