It was also those skewering body punches. Did you see how Margarito almost doubled over in the first from a right hook? That's how you beat a guy with no defense. If he'll let you hit him whenever you like, hit him in the body. And Mosley puts a HUGE amount of torque in his hooks.

focus on jennings. If he wins and looks impressive go for the Margarito rematch.

He made Margarito miss plenty through the first rounds of their fight. His mistake was not clinching and not looking for the body. He has a better chance of beating Tony now that Mosely has provided an excellent strategy.

I read they're still looking to fight Margarito in June anyway.

Sure it was a tough fight, but before Cotto his lip cut, he was doing to Mosley exactly what Mosley was doing to Margarito, and that was imposing his will on Shane. He was landing way more hard punches than Shane, it Mosley's head not his that was being snapped back. IMO he should fight Shane again his timing, tricky speed, and fundamentals makes this a fight he should be favored to win again.

I never saw Magarito almost double over from any body blows, Shane definitely landed a few hard right hooks, but they were no JLC or Cotto left hook type blows to the body.

If you watch Shane at Lightweight and his earliest Welter days, he was actually a far superior bodypuncher than either of the above.

He dismantled Rivera with bodyshots, a man who had never been stopped by any Welter.....in his first fight at 147!

taeth, have a look at some of his LW fights = beautiful body punching!!!
    You'll love it!
