Why do people Keep saying that What Pacman did to Oscar De la Hoya was incredible?
Oscar didnt fight back, a punching bag would of fought more because unlike Oscar the punching bag SWINGS BACK.
Someone answer me.

Floyd could have done the same to Oscar had he chosen to do so but Floyd has become a very scared fighter who is just happy with a decision at times. Manny will once again show the world what a top dog is made of and he will show the world what a real arse kicking will look like. Sure Floyd knocked out Hatton but the fight was boring other than the knock down face first to the ring post. Manny will put on a clinic and Floyd should have done the same with Hatton. Had it not been for that lucky punch from Floyd, he would have gone on to decision Hatton too.

Considering that Floyd was throwing it over and over again and missing and then land it late in the fight only because of Cortez' monkey arse!
... say's it was a lucky punch. Hatton was ready to quit in the 6th of 7th because of Cortez bias referring. Hatton got caught with something he should have never been caught with in the first place and had he not been so worried about having to fight against Floyd and Cortez, Hatton might have made it out of the fight with out getting knocked out.

I like Pac more than Floyd but according to you he threw that left hook over and over and missed all the time except for that 'lucky punch'. I think you're also trying to say Ricky had great defense and a suspect chin considering he 'didn't get hit by one of the most technical fighter in recent years and when he got caught once he got KTFO by a fighter who does not have a lot of power..Well that's what your trying to say.Its ironic is you also said on your previous post Pac's gonna catch Ricky at will..oh well. I agree. what I disagree is when you call that a lucky punch. Fighters like Floyd Mayweather Jr. don't throw lucky punches. They are thinking fighters. And IMO, if Pacquiao can hit Hatton at will, much more Floyd could. And it's not because of luck.
An empty can is always noisy.
Floyd was not willing to engage against Hatton. Floyd was happy to just hug and duck below the waist over and over again. Had Floyd boxed Hatton like he should have, Floyd would have destroyed Hatton early but Floyd opted the biatch way out. It was a lucky punch considering that Floyd threw it over and over again but at that point, Hatton was so distracted he had lost total focus. What I am saying is that Manny is not PBF and Manny will be more than happy to fight and I think Hatton will too. This will be a much better fight in every aspect than PBF vs Hatton was. Floyd does not always throw lucky punches, yes and no, he throws more of what you call opportunistic punches which I think is ok because that shows his brilliance but against Hatton we saw very little of this brilliance. This version of Mayweather Jr is not the same version of the young 26 year old version of Mayweather Jr. If Floyd opted to let his hands go just a little more, he would be awesome. Again, Manny will show the world how you dispose of a fighter and not just do it by one lucky punch and lots of help from a ref. Manny will show us what a p4p champion is posed to do and look like in the ring.
That's the normal reaction of people who thought PAC will lose to Hoya but for those of us who picked PAC to defeat Hoya, picking PAC over Hatton is a much easier decision to make...
Talking about pre-fight conditions, Hatton definitely is the lesser threat compared to Hoya... In the Hoya fight, PAC is a 2 to 1 underdog but now in the Hatton fight, PAC is the 2 to 1 FAVORITE... BIG pre-fight difference...![]()

I said it before and ill say it again IF Oscar fights it will be a good fight.
I had no prefference.-if thats how you spell it.
BUT Oscar DIDNT fight back.So of course Pacman won.
Anybody can hit a punchin bag, I dont get as much credit as Pacman did for doin juzz that on that fight.
My question was...Why do people think Pacman beating Oscar de la hoya was so incredible is Oscar didnt fight back?
Any1 can beat someone who doesnt fight back, henceforth my punchin bag metaphor.![]()
When I picked PAC to defeat Hoya, I'm expecting Hoya to be as good as his last 2 fights (against Forbes and PBF) prior to the PAC fight. Given that condition plus the massive size advantage of Hoya, I still picked PAC to win against that version of Hoya...
Now with this Hatton fight, I also expect Hatton to be as good as his last 2 or 3 fights (against Paulie, Lazcano and PBF). I think this version of Hatton has no match to PAC and will probably be stopped inside 9 rounds...
My PAC-Hatton prediction doesn't ride much on the fact that PAC annihilated Hoya... This prediction is based on their overall resume, skills, recent performances and physical advantages/disadvantages... If I was confident that PAC will defeat Hoya, I'm more confident that PAC will defeat Hatton... Without taking into account the result of PAC-Hoya fight, Hatton's resume, skills, etc. just simply pales in comparison to that of Hoya... Simple analogy and reasoning and it's only my own personal assessment...

I think there are two schools of thought:
Pacquiao looked great against DLH he's gonna beat Hatton (this I believe is totally wrong. DLH was a shell of what he was. Pacquiao was fighting a heavy bag basically, shooting that left cross at will.)
Hatton is far more powerful, he will KO Pacquiao. Lets not underestimate Pacquiao as most of us did when he fought DLH. I think he could do some Hatton-damage. Pacquiao dislikes counterpunches not crowders (I could easily be mistaken here). You see how fast he was? His footwork was incredible and showed no signs of letting up. His lateral movement was also quite good. I need 24/7 to see. I need to see Hatton (I'm going to watch the fight with Paul, I need to see the "new" Hatton with Mayweather Sr). I'll watch that fight and come and make my opinion. Right now I'm undecided.

You got it right there Bro!!!
In my case I'm the very 1st to predict that Pac will just dominate Hatton. His style is made for Pac. I've been saying this way before they even considered this fight could actually happen. Way before they even think of the Pac-DLH Dream match.
When I suggested this fight & Picked Pac,It's like me against the world from ESB thru here in Saddo. They call me any names but I never retract nor Doubted Pac. But I was so confident that Pac will beat Hatton that I agreed on a Lifetime bet at ESB.
Then the DLH came first, a little bit of studying that match-up & came to Predict that Pac will Dominate & stop DLH too. Guess what... I'm the only one at myboxingforum who predicted a Pac Dominating TKO win.
So for this Pac-Hatton Fight.. I'll be putting a lot of Money on Pac... I'm so confident he'll annihilate Hatton. I don't even think that Hatton can win a round against Pac. Pac by Rd5 KO.

Our old buddies in ESB was there at myboxingforum. I just got temporarily banned today by you know my old rival KG or acb. That's about my 4th time having a timeoff there. Can't get to ESB anymore but don't care coz I already made my mark over there.
I might become busy here at Saddo for this Hatton fight, I'll give the Britz a treat!!![]()
