Considering that Floyd was throwing it over and over again and missing and then land it late in the fight only because of Cortez' monkey arse!
... say's it was a lucky punch. Hatton was ready to quit in the 6th of 7th because of Cortez bias referring. Hatton got caught with something he should have never been caught with in the first place and had he not been so worried about having to fight against Floyd and Cortez, Hatton might have made it out of the fight with out getting knocked out.
I like Pac more than Floyd but according to you he threw that left hook over and over and missed all the time except for that 'lucky punch'. I think you're also trying to say Ricky had great defense and a suspect chin considering he 'didn't get hit by one of the most technical fighter in recent years and when he got caught once he got KTFO by a fighter who does not have a lot of power..Well that's what your trying to say.Its ironic is you also said on your previous post Pac's gonna catch Ricky at will..oh well. I agree. what I disagree is when you call that a lucky punch. Fighters like Floyd Mayweather Jr. don't throw lucky punches. They are thinking fighters. And IMO, if Pacquiao can hit Hatton at will, much more Floyd could. And it's not because of luck.
An empty can is always noisy.
Floyd was not willing to engage against Hatton. Floyd was happy to just hug and duck below the waist over and over again. Had Floyd boxed Hatton like he should have, Floyd would have destroyed Hatton early but Floyd opted the biatch way out. It was a lucky punch considering that Floyd threw it over and over again but at that point, Hatton was so distracted he had lost total focus. What I am saying is that Manny is not PBF and Manny will be more than happy to fight and I think Hatton will too. This will be a much better fight in every aspect than PBF vs Hatton was. Floyd does not always throw lucky punches, yes and no, he throws more of what you call opportunistic punches which I think is ok because that shows his brilliance but against Hatton we saw very little of this brilliance. This version of Mayweather Jr is not the same version of the young 26 year old version of Mayweather Jr. If Floyd opted to let his hands go just a little more, he would be awesome. Again, Manny will show the world how you dispose of a fighter and not just do it by one lucky punch and lots of help from a ref. Manny will show us what a p4p champion is posed to do and look like in the ring.
