    I pick Pacquiao!

The main reason is Mayweather Sr. He is bragging that we are going to see a new and improved Hatton. What does that mean? I think it means one of two things. Hatton dancing with the jab to get inside or turning Hatton into a southpaw.

If the Brawler/Puncher Hatton shows up to this fight, Hatton has a chance to slow Pacquiao down and get on the inside. But if Hatton does what Mayweather Sr. trains him for, by the time they figure out it don't work, it's too late. Pacquiao will have already beatn him down with those straight lefts hooks and uppercuts as Hatton tries to pressure Pacquiao. For Hatton to get inside using mayweather techniques he has to be as fast as Pacquiao when stepping to the left but while Hatton has the hand speed in his inside punch he has nothing in his feet and head bob so instead of hitting Pacquiao with left hooks to the body and left crosses he'll be absorbing Pacquiao's

Hatton has one great skill and that is on the inside. Hatton has ring savvy and knows how to cut a outside boxer off to get inside but his outside boxing skills are marginal at best. His foot work is clumbsy and slowwww. He can't dance in the ring. He did a little of it against Malignaggi but he not fighting Malignaggi! Hatton's only chance is to catch Pacquiao or take Pacquiao off his game and get him to stand toe to toe.

Actually he has quick feet. Bad thing is he only uses is to close the gap with his opponents to launch his attack inside. He doesn't and never uses it for defensive pusposes. That's one thing Pacquiao has learned over the years. If Mayweather Sr. turns Hatton into a bit of a defensive fighter at this point of his career, (which I highly doubt) I think Ricky would have a much better chance of winning this fight.

I don't agree, Hatton may have smart feet, because he has ring savvy to cut the ring off while chasing a fighter. They are no where near the speed of Pacquiao's. The thing about Pacquiao is he love to mix it up. When he gets hit with a good shot, he right there wanting to go toe-to-toe. That is exactly what I'm talking about. It's a mistake.
