    No, its much bigger than a dung beetle ..... though it lives in Africa too (but in the Congo jungle rather than the savannah)

    This is the dung beetle. The head and thorax are different, and the legs are shorter on the dung beetle.



    Interestingly, I've since found out that the two are related, Scrap, so you're not far off. The one I am thinking of has a specific species name though.

    And no - it's not the "Jesus, what the fuck is that?. Havya seen the size of it" Beetle.

    Shall I just post the answer?
