Toney: I'll KO Hopkins

On the contrary Toney is a slick counterpuncher, he is not Pavlik nor will he come in without a plan b

He is also 40 years of age, and would be losing over 20kg's in weight to face Hopkins. Hopkins is older, but always in shape. Im a long time Toney fan, but the whole proposition sounds absurd.

I hear you miles, but the point of my post was to show that obviously HTH knows little about Toney to say he is a straight forward fighter

To be honest i think he's knowledge is very little on alot of boxers, his post about Pernell Whitaker in the other thread was absurd. Now this one ain't much better, he needs to watch his fights against.

James Toney is a throwback fighter he can box beautifully rolling with the punches, he can find angles brilliantly his countering skills are top notch. James Toney is like a boxer from the 1950's he really is the complete package, he just often didn't train enough which let him down.
