    Floyd Mayweather Jr
Not until hes unbeaten as a champ for 12 years and still beating the top boys when hes 36 and unfortunately for Floyd thats not going to happen now, Joe has no comparisons
Uhh please Floyd Mayweather Jr makes Joe Calzaghe's resume look like a joke, he's also won 5 titles in 5 weightclasses which only a handful of fighters have done. He's also been P4P number 1 for a few years, Floyd Mayweather Jr could fight until he's 40 and still be effective.

Archie Moore did it until he was 46 and i mean manage to stay at near the top of the division, no boxer in the world would stay undefeated against his opposition and with the number of fights he had.

    Agreed ^^^.

    Bernard Hopkins = 43

Put him with Calzaghe 5 years ago Hopkins would have won. Now give me another name please. Lacy? Ok, ONE guy that wasn't too old. Just one. Roy Jones Jr is way past his prime (which was cut short but his weight problems). Give me any names, ANY other than Lacy. Not some old, past their prime champions.

Floyd Mayweather on the other hand: De La Hoya (yes, he without a doubt won that fight), Zab Judah, Ricky Hatton, Arturo Gatti (ok, might not deserve to be on this list), among others.

And possibly, hopefully Pacqiuao sometime on the list. Or maybe Mosley.

Mayweather, doubtlessly better than Calzaghe. Calzaghe has fought has beens all his career (don't give me this "Jeff Lacy thing"), Floyd hasn't: end of story.

Bernard was offered the match 5 years ago and after agreeing on everything, he suddenly doubled his money demands, when the realisation it him he shiit his pants

Mayweather did a good job of fighting people coming off losses and avoiding Tszyu, hes not even relevant anymore, who is he, everyones talking about Joe because hes a better fighter, no one gave a shiit when Floyd retired, there wasnt this much debate when Floyd quit because we all agreed "big deal!"

Are you kidding me ? there wasn't much debate when Floyd Mayweather Jr retired ? there was threads upon threads of it and there still is. Kostya Tszyu would of got his shot had he beat Ricky Hatton, Ricky Hatton beat Kostya Tszyu and he got his shot against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

And Floyd Mayweather Jr beat the man who beat Kostya Tszyu, if Joe Calzaghe is the better fighter then why wasn't he rated P4P number 1 ? and why is Floyd Mayweather considered much higher in the all time rankings ? And if your honestly trying to tell me Joe Calzaghe is a more skilled fighter than Floyd Mayweather, then you need medical attention.

No1 on that list, from what I've seen is or was as complete as Joe. Bet that. Stop buying the hype.

Damn some of those names are comparable but some have me scratching my head.

Are you kidding me ? jesus you are a Joe Calzaghe fan boy.

Ricardo Lopez is the finest technical boxer of all time.

Alexis Arguello threw every punch so perfect.

Miguel Canto the mexican version of Willie Pep.

Floyd Mayweather Jr possibly the best all round fighter ever.

    ETC.

Seriously your making me scratch my head if you don't think most of those boxers. Are as good as an all round fighter as Joe Calzaghe, your boxing knowledge is limited if you seriously think that. Or your seriously riding Joe Calzaghe nuts, theres no other way to explain such an absurd comment.

I will say that Joe is better than floyd. Can you imagine them fighting in the same weight? floyd would be trying to counter all night and would be overwhelmed by the speed skill and workrate of Joe.

floyd struggled with another fast southpaw in Judah that isn't 1/10 the fighter, ring general or has half the ring IQ of Joe and Zab would have won if he wouldn't have faded so fast.

BTW, the reason he was never rated above floyd is because of his lack of american exposure. floyd got on the big stage and did nothing with it but avoid every dangerous opponent.

Floyd Mayweather P4P Super Featherweight version would ruin Joe Calzaghe. Floyd Mayweather easily beat Zab Judah what the hell are you talking about ? he won 3 rounds of out of 12. Joe Calzaghe struggled against Bernard Hopkins who was a counter puncher. He's also struggled against the likes of Richie Woodhall, Robin Reid, ETC.

Joe Calzaghe better than Floyd Mayweather are you out of your mind seriously ?

Get the fuck out of here seriously Joe Calzaghe's opposition at Super Middleweight, is nothing compared to Floyd Mayweather's resume. Joe Calzaghe fought the likes of a shot Roy Jones, Peter Manfredo, Tocker Pudwill, Kabary Salem, Mario Veit 2, Mger Mkrtchian, Miguel Angel Jiminez, Will McIntyre, Branco Sobot, and your talking about Floyd Mayweather Jr picking opponents PLEASE
