I agree with that. Id say where ever they stand on the ATG rankings, they should be close...and neither too close to the top

Even though i would love to see this fight, Mayweather has retired.

Its not like he is looking into other fights.

dude give the guy a fucking break, i'm not even a Mayweather fan and yet i'm sick of all this thrashing, hell like someone else mentioned he hasn't said he's interested in fighting anyone, and hell for most of you nothing he does will be enough, he can come back beat Cotto, Mosley, and then Pacquiao, retire again and then some of you will still be bitching that he didn't fight Berto or Williams, get off the dudes back already

I think this would be a fun fight. Floyd is the younger and more skilled fighter, but Shane has tremendous heart and seems to have gotten a second wind. I am curious how the inactivity will effect Floyd...he has not fought in quite some time...so if he does come back and takes on a fighter of Shane's caliber...he needs to be his usual sharp self.

    Me too.
Both great fighters with huge skills, maybe the best, but both left a few unanswered questions by treading too carefully when the time was ripe to go for it.
