Whatever. Main events. Shobox. I honestly have no idea what exactly his promotional company. Didn't care if he partly owned Showtime or what. As far as I knew Chad Dawson is his only 'potential' 'future' PPV fighter left. Gone are the days when he was one of the bigger pimps. The old guy is broke ala Don King.
Shaw is by no means the biggest promoter out there but he does have 3 top 20 P4P fighters, Dawson, Darchinyan, and Marquez. He also has 2 of the most exciting hispanic prospects in Angulo and Demarco. Add that to the likes of Timothy Bradley, Andre Dirrell and Ali Funeka and i dont think Gary is broke yet....

As for Don King I only wish i was as broke as him.....
So am I! Heck Bill Gates declared bankcruptcy. Hell seems everybody's going broke thesedays! Shaw is on the downside. You've got to admit he's rep is on the decline. We rarely hear his name with all these big fights lately. Unlike before he was all over these monumental fights. If I'm not mistaken he was the promoter of the Lewis-Tyson fight. The big dogs today is Bob and Oscar. So back to the Donaire decision, not a big mistake. Again, it could all be bad luck and worse timing.
