I think Hatton is gonna give Pac a tough fight. It's gonna come down to Hattons timing, he looked real good against a fast Paulie. Hopefully he can build off that from continued work with Floyd Mayweather Sr.
I'm cool. I'm just not into the Nostradamus nonsense. "Oh, I predicted a couple of wins for my favourite fighter in the whole wide world....and of course, Hatton was always next in line for a beat down!". Erm, of course.
I am very realistic these days and that's why I concede it's a fight that can go either way. But those betting odds are out of line, and are blown up. Great for anyone wanting a bet on a Hatton win though.
Hatton supporters are heavily relying on Hatton to land that vaunted left hook to the body like what he did to Jose Luis Castillo... but look at how PAC beat to the punch those boxers attempting to land that left hook to the body...

Hatton supporters (or Team Hatton itself) must be very worried about this... I think Hatton will be in for the worst beating in his life...

It's nut just about the one punch to the body with Hatton though. I haven't watched the Malignaggi fight in a while, but I'm sure it was the head shots that Hatton was nailing him with that had the largest impact.
Only a fool wouldn't be worried about the dangers Pac poses, just as any informed Pac fan would be well aware of the dangers Hatton poses too.
It works both ways as far as I can see.
Hatton barely threw ANY body punches in the Malignaggi fight, probably because he knew he wouldn't be able to back Paulie up, just like he won't be able to do so with pac man, so I see him throwing the overhand right alot as Pac Man comes in, the first solid punch ricky landed on Paulie if my memory serves me, and had Paulie holdin on for life.
I think timing will be key for Hatton, Pac Man's defense isn't the best out there, he can certainly be hit as he's throwing punches like a mad man, JMM proved this.
NOt when you can't hit the target. Hatton's hook to the body will not land just like DLH's left hook that never land. Hatton probably looks faster than DLH but Hatton has a very short arms. Pac's Jab & Straight left will land at will & will keep Hatton out of range. If he gets a little closer, he still has to deal with Pac's right hook.
He was but fans rather ignore that fact and just celebrate the fact that Pac beat such a great name. Now people can always claim that Pac was fighting an old DLH
Hatton is prone to getting cut, just like Pac, but I can see Pac having a higher output of punches. I am not sure if bullying Pac would do him any good and risk himself from getting connected over and over. I hope that doesn't happen. I just want to see Pac lose convincingly. After watching that fight, I'm forced to conclude Pac will be all over Hatton
Did you see how JMM 2 hit him on the body on different ocassions and had Pac holding to dear life?but look at how PAC beat to the punch those boxers attempting to land that left hook to the body...
Reason why Pac's face was the way it was at the end and also how he looked like he was holding to dear life in different ocassions vs JMM (both fights).Pac Man's defense isn't the best out there, he can certainly be hit as he's throwing punches like a mad man, JMM proved this
personally, I still have my doubts about pacman moving up in weight because even though he destroyed dela hoya, dela hoya clearly wasnt himself. Oscar usually puts up way more of a fight then that n i feel that the weight really killed him. I dont take anything away from pacman, he's #1 in my p4p opinion, but im just not 100% sold yet about the weight changes. I would deff love for him to prove me wrong and i hope he does.
