I think he's overrated if anything, he doesn't have a lot of power, he isn't super fast, he squares up a lot. I like that he keeps his hands up, and that he is accurate, but I think he would be in against too much fire power agianst Cotto, MOsley, and even Berto.
He didn't even mention Mayweather, remember the guy who's retired??

I think Clottey could be dangerous to all those guys but he's in the position of being the high-risk low reward fight in the division & none of these guys seem to bothered about unifying the belts. I don't think Clottey is amazing at any one particular thing, but he is very good at everything IMO, a well-rounded fighter. Can't see Mosley or Cotto giving him time of day, & I think Berto's handlers will recognize him as too dangerous a risk. If Margarito fights in Mexico, it might be worth Clottey going there to get revenge & possibly raise his profile.
Why should we remember the guy who is retired. Doesn't mean that fight will not happen? How would he do against Kostya Tszyu right now

I love Berto (and Clottey), but I think Josh would disassemble him. Clottey has good speed and power and Andre gets thrown way off when someone taps him on the chin.
    Agreed

tad one dimensional is clottey if you ask me

berto would be able to outmuscle him and the same mosley that fought margarito would make clottey look amateurish.

Berto-Clottey makes a hell of a lot of sense for so many reasons and would like to see it happen before the years out!!

A guy like Margarito is made for a guy like Mosley. I'd say 9 time out of 10 Mosley would beat him. Clottey-Mosley would be a whole different animal. Clottey's defense is too good for Mosley to abuse him to the body like he did Margarito and Joshua throws good combos with a decent amount of power and speed. I can't predict who would win there, but I can't predict a winner based on prior performance.

Berto would try outmuscling Clottey and find Joshua is just as strong. The best things about Andre are his heart and the kid flat-out learns in leaps from prior fights. But he does struggle with guys he can't knock out and Joshua would exploit every opening he got. How it would blow up in Clottey's face is if he closed up the defense when Berto attacked and Andre pretty much never stopped punching.

berto struggles a bit with the kind of guys that dont neccesarily wanna trade in the middle but clottey would be tailor made for him.

I see what your saying about mosley but i do genuinely think he`d probably just have too much ring guile for clottey to run it close!!

Clottey reminds alot of Quartey except for that shotgun jab. But all around I think his skills are probably better than Ike's were. Now that would be a great fight. I give him a good chance but I do think the division's elite are still much better than him. I believe if you feed him to Mosley,Cotto or even Margarito again he will lose.
