Man we all win from a fight like this. If a rematch, Juan Diaz will be more experienced and JMM will be all the more older. Awesome, makes the sport one with hope after a FOTy.

Especially knowing when to throw the uppercut.

I'm with you on Diaz - hell of a showing. I thought he might take this one after the first half of the fight. Gotta give it up for JMM pulling it out with accurate punching, though. Seriously impressive fight!
That was keeey.Diaz started 'thinking' and sitting outside.let up when he had Marquez pinned in corners/on ropes.Marquez took him deep and cut him adrift.Uppercuts are numero uno.Diaz never stopped trying, pure onslaught and courage but the experience caught up brutally in the end. This is why Sunday AMs are nice, many rewatches on this great scrap.

I thought Diaz would win this fight by the seeming size difference, just bullying JMM and tiring him with his bulk and sheer output; and thinking also this would be the fight where JMM would feel his age and one f those where you say "well that's his career over now, he just got old"...... Guess JMM said f#ck the Geritol I ain't finished for a long while yet.....What a masterclass he demonstrated; some of the smartest, cleanest boxing I've seen, and what composure that dude has.......Gonna have to beg Danny to make me a JMM sig now

OMG! insane fight. I am happy for JMM, he deserves his due. He fought Diaz's fight and STILL knocked him out.

I was also impressed by how all of those keeping score on here had the scores so close for such a fight. I think me and Greg only flipped one round but had it even before the last round.
Hell Lederman even had it going on.

Why? What's with the Kellerman? What did Diaz do to deserve the harshness? Anyone care to enlighten? Thanks.

Some of those rounds looked really tough to score - Marquez threw cleaner shots, but he was getting bullied around the ring for most of the night. Good thing for JMM that he didn't leave it up to the judges.

Thankfully we have master judges on here.

i dont think marquez wants mayweather

i think hes thinking that pacquiao is gonna want mayweather after pacquiao and by calling out mayweather b4 that hes putting himself in a place to be fighting for the right to fight mayweather so he can get another pacquiao fight

either way i hope 1 of them fight mayweather
